The best staff, very friendly people, felt like I'm at home 😊. It was quiet, very nice garden, beautiful views, amazing breakfast.
Rooms and furniture were old, but it wasn't a problem.

I wouldn't say it's the best guesthouse I've ever stayed at, but the place definitely has a special atmosphere of its own. The owner was friendly as well as the staff, and I really enjoyed the food. Yes, the rooms are quite simple, I think some needs improvement, but at the same time, you get a real taste of the locals' lives, and yes, you get what you pay for, so I’m surprised by people’s reviews about the location and the house in general, it’s as if they didn’t see what they were booking or expected a 5-star hotel. This place is for those who want peace and quiet, simplicity, and a chance to immerse themselves in local life. And btw, Madinat Habu is just 10 minute walk from the house, as well as some restaurants.

A home away from home .. second time here

Close to the valley of kings and nice terrace. The host was kind and made sure my partner was okay when he was sick. He also brought us to the ferry and organized taxi to the airport.
We stayed a total of 3 nights and every night we would sleep with windows closed and everything closed; somehow mosquitoes would still make it into our room and wake us up in the middle of the night, several timea. The beds were not comfortable and at night sometimes they would play loud youtube music on the phones from the terrace that we could hear from our room. I’m sure it can be a nice place, but we personally didn’t have the best experience.
