I enjoyed my stay at Devi Bhawan very much. The location, in a quiet residential area, was perfect, and there were a number of good food/drink options nearby, including an excellent cafe/coffee shop opposite.
The hotel is beautiful. Very atmospheric. Lovely gardens and nice pool. It’s low season at the moment and they’re doing some maintenance work. There was a bit of noise but not much, and the manager gave me a choice of rooms. The one I chose was huge, and quirky, mostly in a good way, with a nice terrace to sit out on.
Breakfast was good although it was a bit of a mystery the first couple of days as there was no buffet due to low occupancy and no menu. But it was fine. I had dinner a couple of times too well cooked and reasonable price.

The property was well situated in the city away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. It is a calm, tropical oasis which allowed us to truly unwind during a busy leg of our trip. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff were superb and very attentive. A special mention to Bhawal, who made each visit to the restaurant very special and his cooking skills were excellent. We ended up wasting every meal here! The pool facilities are also very nice. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we hope to return soon.

Devi bawan is a wonderful place like a dream, it has wonderful rooms,calmness and great hospitality.
