Satisfactory, but not clean enough.

Location

Kitchen was dirty. Plates and cutlery all needed washing before use. Oven trays were too dirty to use.

Cozy, clean and spacious place.

Perfect renting space for huge family looking for a cozy, clean and spacious place to stay. The house is safe and convenient close to motorway too. Kitchen has enough utensils for cooking can't be thankful enough. The staff is very accommodating and would notify you every now and then of the to do list before checking out. We added last minute 1 person reservation to the booking and they have been very kind to approve our request. Overall, the stay had been a good value for money

There is only 1 toilet to share for the rest of the 4 bedroom. The Wifi was barely working so we only use our data.

Lovely place.

Comfortable and homely. Nice sense of style.

We felt it was missing modest essentials such as cooking oil, pepper, a cafetiere, and maybe a dishwasher tablet per night of stay would be ideal for the "home away from home" experience.

Excellent and near to Alton Tower

Property was nice and homely, very clean We had everything we needed, highly recommended .

Unfortunately it was rainy we could not use the garden, we had birthday in living room which was nice again.

Pleasant

Clean, quirky, fine for a 1 night stop over. Tidy, well presented, and usual amenities you would expect with a house. Needs some TLC and DIY in some areas.

Overall, it was good and comfortable.

Spacious and comfortable

Communication on the late check out could have been better. (We were left uncertain about this) Communication on parking at the property was inconsistent, which caused us some confusion. Also, we had two cars but there was only one permit. The bathroom basin didn't drain very well Dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll and more toilet roll would have been appreciated, as there were 7 of us in the party.

Great for large families - additional parking close by

The house was lovely and spacious. Love the decor. Love the way the rooms were themed. Love the moden design mixed with other concepts. Beds were super soft, everything was clean and tidy. The company were very informative and contacted me multiple times to check how things were.

Parking can be a little tricky if you have multiple cars since the street has permit holder spaces down the entire street and only one permit is provided. Times for non permit parking is mon-sat 9pm-8am. There is parking available woodhouse street, just at the end of the road. There were few things in the house that were broken by previous tenants, like the door handle in the living room and the floor in the kitched, which worries you when you have paid a desposit.

it was a very unique place, very spacious and felt like home. Customer service were great - were able to help sort out things straight away.

i think there should be an observation of property before a guests arrival as one of our light bulbs were not working and the heating in one room. The customer service team did work hard to sort this out. other than that everything was fine. Not necessarily didn’t like but things that could be included to improve the property include a full length mirror, better lighting especially in room 2 (black room), easier instructions for heating. I would definitely stay again as it is close to the town centre and station.

Home from home, we’d definitely return.

Very spacious and well presented. Easy check in, with parking directly outside in a quiet street. Well heated which was really important after a busy day outside. Netflix for the evening too.

The floor was a bit sticky in places and a couple of dishes needed cleaned before use. may have been a previous guest not having cleaned properly though.

the decor was beautiful, each room had its own unique quirky style, we loved every room they rooms were spacious, homely and welcoming the beds were comfortable with plenty cushions we like the complimentary shampoo and body wash in each room

location is in a very dull area the next door neighbours were noisey all night, keeping all their windows open and lights on! corners and skirting around the whole house were dirty dish washer has dirty dishes inside it the roof was leaking in the kitchen when shower was in use! we never ended up using the shower then

Really enjoy our stay, will be booking again in the future

The property was above our expectations, We really enjoy our stay accept some minor problem, location is very close to a lot of amenities and close to town, visiting families n friends was just down the road. Will be booking again in the future

if kitchen can have some blinds just to give that privacy from the neighbors

lovely, comfortable, homely

The property was beautiful, lovely furniture and beautifully decorated. It was clean and only a half hour drive from Alton Towers which was the reason for our stay.

A couple of light bulbs needed replaced.

Superb

The decorations were amazing, the rooms were comfortable and spacious, the kitchen was well stocked and the hosts were so generous.

We only hoped there was another WC, but the description was clear and we knew there was only 1 when we booked. Adding bins to the rooms and WC would be very helpful.

Good accommodation and quirky decor for a group weekend away.

Comfortable beds and good living space for a group of friends.

Unfortunately the parking permits were missing so we had to park a little way away from the property.

A comfortable stay and would recommend

There were 4, comfortable double beds, a well equipped kitchen and a TV set up with all the apps you could possibly need. There were extra bits, like washing powder and washing up liquid, plus coffee, tea etc and some books - which was a nice touch; plus loads of towels. It’s about a 30 minute drive to Alton Towers. It was very artistically decorated and more than adequate for our needs.

We found a kitchen cupboard door broken, the metal wires on the right side, in the oven did not remain in place, which made cooking awkward. The WiFi was intermittent for 4 adults using the internet simultaneously. The area the house is situated in is a little bit run down and a long drive into town. The last tenants went home with the parking permit, but this was resolved within 2 days, and in the meantime we parked the car round the corner. The upstairs bedrooms smelt of tobacco and weed (apparently this is due to the neighbours). There is a small outside area at the back, but the back door key lock was hard to turn.

Great location, quiet area & comfortable beds. Provided tea bags, coffee sachets and sugar sachets which is a nice touch.

Shower head too heavy for its holder (very high up and kept falling off). It would be nice to have salt & pepper in the kitchen and toilet paper in the bathroom, these cheap essentials would compliment the overall good service offering for minimal cost I feel.

this is a very comfortable house on a quiet street. it’s an ideal location for a base to visit Alton Towers.

the area looks a bit run down but don’t be out off. it’s a great base for Alton Towers.
