Great location, easy check in, beautiful shower and great space in the room.
Wished there was more than 2 pillows. Reception wouldn’t offer more toilet paper when we had run out and told us to buy our own.

Everything was fine except the creaky old mattresses

Location was great as it was right in the centre of Funchal.
No housekeeping provided, unexpected given the price per night.
Only two body towels for a 5-night stay.
No reception, so no way to request extra towels, toilet rolls, etc.
No shower gel or basic toiletries, had to buy our own.
Toilet seat is too high, at 5'3", my feet didn’t touch the ground.
Parking listed as a facility, but no on-site parking available.
Had to park 10 minutes away-manageable, but misleading.
Tourist tax only mentioned at the end of the stay, would’ve been helpful to know upfront so we could prepare cash or have it included in the price.
Overall, facilities are quite limited and didn’t meet expectations.
