I enjoyed the hammock area at the top on the property overlooking Tayrona Park and the playful monkeys and all the animals
The place advertised having a shared kitchen, but when I enquired about this. It didn’t seem to be the case. I had to pay for my dinner which was an unexpected cost but it was a great meal nonetheless

The location is very beautiful, the camp itself is nicely put together, there is a short trail to a mirador on top of the mountain with beautiful views. Karen and her family are very sweet and try very hard to please, the food was delicious.
The monkeys who live at the camp are aggressively persistent, especially when you’re eating.
It’s obvious that This camp was once really cool, with nice palapas and hammocks and well thought out. Sadly, it’s now pretty run down and in need of some TLC. It needs new mattresses, tents, towels, soap as the basics. If you go, be prepared to bring your water, at least a hand towel, and some soap

L'environnement est agréable avec le bruit de la nature et c'est aussi une expérience relaxante de se déconnecter complètement (pas de wifi ni d'électricité). C'est aussi bien situé pour commencer à profiter du parc directement le matin sans perdre du temps avec le transport. La logeuse m'a offert un fruit que je connaissais pas qui était délicieux.
La fermeture éclair de la tente était cassée. On m'a montré dans quel sens il ne fallait pas ouvrir pour ne pas qu'elle se casse davantage mais alors que j'essayais de rentrer délicatement dans la tente, un chat est rentré brutalement et a complètement ouvert la fermeture de la tente d'une manière qu'il ne fallait pas visiblement puisque je ne pouvais plus refermer. Donc je me suis réveillée avec beaucoup de piqûres de moustiques le lendemain. Et le chat n'arrêtait pas de rentrer dans la tente et de mordre mon sac en tissu qui contenait des provisions pour le lendemain et de me mordre un peu moi aussi et je ne pouvais plus m'en débarrasser et j'étais un peu inquiète.
