Very good value hut in a very quiet location. Would recommend if you like a simple life.

Very good host, lovely breakfast, bed not too hard and very quiet location but in walking distance to restaurants and the pier. Fantastic value for money in a simple hut.

Spacious room, hot shower, lovely garden and reception

Lovely large room, comfy bed, good fan and surprisingly, a hot shower! a balcony with comfy seat. Very pretty surroundings and the fried rice was tasty and very cheap. For this price, it was far better than we expected.

Only problem with this property was that we left, and our next accommodation is far worse, I wish we could go back !

Viihtyisä ja rento majapaikka vapaille sieluille, jossa hinta-laatusuhde kohdillaan

Kiva, rento ilmapiiri ja superhyvät aamupalavaihtoehdot. Bungalowi oli yksinkertainen mutta ihan hyvä. Talon emäntä oli ystävällinen.

Sänky oli hieman kova ja yksi peitto ei riittänyt kahdelle, mutta se ei ollut mikään suuri ongelma.

Option correcte, mais pas la meilleure zone

- Le chambre était correcte et pas très chère: 300 bahts la nuit (et la version deluxe à 350 bahts). C'est un peu moins cher et mieux que le Lonely Groove où j'avais été quelques jours avant dans la meme zone, et largement mieux que le Rasta Views que je déconseille. - La chambre dispose d'une salle de bain privative et l'eau de la douche est chaude. - Il y a une terrasse avec hamac. - Un ventilateur à pied, une moustiquaire et une petite penderie portable sont également fournis dans la chambre.

- J'ai trouvé la zone où se trouve l'hôtel un peu trop isolée. Il vaut mieux aller dans des coins plus connus de l'ile comme Kai Bae Beach ou White Sand Beach par ex. Je n'ai pas vraiment accroché avec la zone Bangbao / Klong Koi, d'autant plus que je me suis fait devoré par des sandflies sur la plage, j'ai eu des démangeaisons pendant deux semaines. - Petits détails: il n'y avait pas de savon ou de shampooing fourni, et la pression de la douche était un peu faible.

Sehr hilfsbereite, freundliche und warmherzige Gastgeberin, unfassbar leckeres Essen zu einem guten Preis, schöne Bungalows, sehr angenehme Atmosphäre.

Ausstattung mit ventilator: wird sehr heiß im Bungalow/ noch heißer im Zimmer. Etwas abgelegener, aber mit Scooter super!

Great value for money, location and experience.

For value for money you can’t beat Hippy Hut. It’s in a quiet forest-like setting but only a short 8-10 minute stroll to Bang Bao fishing village where there are shops, restaurants, 7/11 and where boats leave for diving and snorkelling trips as well as other islands including Koh Mak and Koh Kood. Also short scooter ride to the best beach on the island for swimming with no rocks Klong Koi Beach. The yurt-style bungalow we stayed in had a fan, mosquito net, toilet and shower, and was clean. The staff are super helpful and friendly. They let us park our scooter there for 3 days while we visited some of the other islands. Hippy Hut also serves a great breakfast. Their Earl Gray Banana Pancakes are particularly good! They also serve really cold beer, which not everyone does. Happy Hippy Days. Love that you can also refill your water bottles here for free.

There are quite a few dogs on the street that you need to walk down to get to the fishing village and these dogs are totally fine. However if you’re scared of dogs it’s worth knowing. We love dogs and so it wasn’t a problem for us.

Very cute and well-priced

It’s at the end of a quiet, little side road with one nearby neighbour but easily walkable to town / beach. Peaceful and chill. Well designed/decorated room and small common areas for chilling/ eating. Very well priced for a private room / bungalow.

The fan only room is too hot for this time of year - especially during day / night is doable - but this isn’t any fault of the property. Beware that it’s not a social place if it’s what you are looking for.

Exceptional

After staying in a hostel where I couldn't sleep because of loud music until 4am, I was more than happy to arrive here. Real peaceful, lovely owners and AMAZING affordable breakfast! Free coffee and water and you can pick tasty berries from the tree in front.

Like my overall stay here.

Great option for travellers on a budget.

Hippy Hut is great if you are looking for a clean and very affordable room. The owners are friendly and the surroundings are quiet.

The bed is a thin mattress laying on the floor, which can get quite uncomfortable if you are not use to it.

We loved our stay and would come back again :)

Had a very communal vibe and the owner was super nice. A nice quiet location, beautiful area and the food was delicious and very cheap. Also really appreciate the free coffee and filtered water!!

Cosy and Calm accommodation with nice meal offer

it was pleasure to stay in Kumi place. about 1km from Bang Bao pier if you go from/to other islands. it was peaceful stay in nice garden and house. Kumi is a excellent chef, she offer breakfast and also lunch and dinner. our room was cosy and clean with enough space. highly recommended if you prefer calmness and warm hospitality then overcrowded resort.

I just missed some hooks on the wall to put there some of my stuff since there is no wardrobe. Bed was somehow hard for my taste

Simple, clean with a lovely vibe. Kumi is a great cook and the food is cheap. Both Kumi and Bao are very friendly. Overall great value for money. There is also free tea/coffee and drinking water

Superb

Very nice and fairly new place a little of the beaten track close to Ban Bao. Staff was super helpful and even installed a mosquito net just for us. Nice restaurants and beaches nearby. Very good value for money.

Lovely staying experience

The free breakfast was very delicious and nutritious! The hosts were nice and the place was quiet in the evening.

It is a bit dark if walking alone in the alley at night. I would recommend to rent a scooter if stay here.
