Comfortable, modern with great amenities. Would love to come back once more !

The location, the amazing hot tub, the decor and cleanliness. The host was also reachable at anytime for any questions. It was right next to a cute pizza place too!

Nothing to complain about ! Although a microwave would have been a nice addition.

It was just the place we needed to stay at to relax and let go of our hectic lives!

The Inn is very quaint and well maintained. It was so comfortable. The bed was perfect. Essential oils were fabulous! Perfect Stay!!!!

The weather? If only they could control the weather!!!

The fun vibe of the room was completely ruined by the road noise.

The room decor was cool and interesting. The bed was comfortable and the claw foot tub in the bathroom was great. We were greeted warmly by the property owner upon our arrival.

It was about 15 to 20 feet from a busy road and the drone of road noise all night long was horrible.

Beautiful property with great amenities

Lovely property. Beautiful guest house space with tons of thoughtful touches. The kind of place where you think “it would be nice if…” only to discover it behind you a moment later! We really enjoyed the hot tub and the fire area as well as the games in the room.

The only reason I wouldn’t give it a perfect ten is that the service and set up was a bit strange. It’s more of an AirBNB than an inn or guest house. It’s self check in and you have to call a number if you want help with something. That being said they were very responsive, it just wasn’t totally what we were expecting, and a human touch would’ve taken this place to the next level.

Perfect stay in Woodstock!

Working with Dam and Carmen is amazing! They ensured we had the most wonderful stay!! So accommodating, and the Inn is truly perfection! We had the absolute best time! The rooms are spacious and have everything you need! Literally, they thought of everything and then more! Dinner recommendations were superb! Walking distance into town! The fact that it's so luxurious and dog friendly makes this even more special. The hot tub in the fun courtyard was so relaxing!

This stop on our NE road trip was just perfect for what we needed at the time. We LOVED it!

All the convenience- the location, the parking, the design of the place and room, perfect set up.

A nice suite for young couple who can effort it.

A special Suite which includes kitchen, two coffee machines, and even a record player ! Everything was nice and clean.

They didn’t mention that the suite is in the second floor with very stif stairs, which was a problem to for me to climb. Also the tub is very high and very difficult to get in. If i would have known that facts in advance - i would choose another place! Also there were no staff at all, not even for check-in or out. The place is expensive.

The Herwood from a Boomers viewpoint.

It was a cool place, the modern fixtures are very pleasing to the eye but not having shelf space in the bathroom got old very quickly. The bed is comfortable and we slept well.

The location, it's to far from town, we prefer to leave the car parked and walk wherever we can. We found the road back after dark has some dark areas at night. It's not the hotels fault but we did find it unsettling. If you don't mind taking the car and having to find parking in town this shouldn't be a problem at all.

Really cute place to stay - lists of fun, funky details and just a short walk to town center.

a great boutique experience. Only a 10-min walk to the center of town. didn’t feel crowded at all - we barely saw any other customers while we were there. we sat outside and read or used the hot tub at our leisure.The room had so many cute extras- a record player and some vintage albums; lots of books and games; and lots of eco-friendly and/or local products. We could always reach the owner (manager?) via the chat on the in-room iPad, which also had info about the facilities and the area. And when chatting, the owner would make a rec about where to eat, unsolicited. Also loved the Commune “shop” on the property, where you could pick up and pay for a snack or some deodorant or CBD 24/7. A lot of attention to the fun details!

Our suite, the Franklin Flat, was really cute, but the outer room was pretty tight when the sofa bed was open. It was still fully functional- kitchenette was usable and you could sit at the counter to eat, but If we had been there more than two nights it might have gotten a little hard for our family of 4 to be civil. The rest of the space (bedroom, bathroom, closet) was otherwise more than ample. The only other drawback was that the only ceiling A/C unit was in the bedroom and didn’t reach the outer room as well, so we had to keep it pretty cold in the bedroom in order for our kids to be comfortable in the other room. But we just threw on another blanket!

It was magical, romantic, fun loving, relaxing, peaceful and most of all joyful.

I absolutely loved every part of our stay. The backyard is magical. The shower fantastic and the open decor of the Mitchell Manor was truly whimsical and catered to the needs of the people staying. I truly appreciate this place and will definitely be returning for my future Woodstock visits to come. Thank you for such a beautiful place that you share with us. I feel blessed and grateful to have found your place. Lots of peace and blessings to you!

Exceptional

I had the pleasure of staying at this chic Inn during my wedding weekend. We had a great stay. Each room is unique and beautifully decorated, yet overall vibe of the property is welcoming and unpretentious. Adam, one of the owners, was incredibly helpful both leading up to and during our stay. Because there aren't a ton of hotel options in Woodstock, I had the opportunity to see where other guests were staying for the weekend and I can confidently say that the Herwood Inn is the best in terms of value and location.

Superb

Beautifully decorated rooms and extremely clean. Quiet location, but close enough to town to walk. The hot tub was very clean as well and a nice treat in very cold temps. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend for a weekend getaway.
