Lovely base to explore Rügen

Loved the maritime design, and the apartment was very spacious, quiet and safe. The beds and other furniture were comfortable and everything was nice and clean. Lots of windows to open and let in the fresh breeze. The kitchen had everything we needed. A supermarket and the harbour with restaurants were in walking distance. We could reach the whole east side of Rügen from the south point to Kap Arkona by car within 20 to at most 45 minutes.

The view from the balcony/windows was nothing spectacular (not really bad either), but that was not really important to us.

Schöne grosszügige Wohnung, aber leider nichts für die kühlere Übergangszeit!

Die Wohnung war sehr hübsch und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, allerdings war es nicht einfach, hinter die Bedienung des Herdes zu kommen. Eine Anleitung dafür wäre gut gewesen!

Die Wohnung war leider viel zu kalt für uns jetzt Ende September, wo die Temperaturen abends doch schon stark heruntergehen und auch am Tag nicht über 14-15 Grad waren, so dass wir beide dort krank und erkältet wurden. Sie hatte angeblich eine Fussbodenheizung, die aber nicht eingeschaltet war und angeblich nach Nachfrage und Beschwerde auf einen Aussenfühler reagieren würde, aber leider hatten wir nie eine angenehme oder gemütliche Wärme in der Wohnung und der Boden war die ganze Zeit eiskalt, besonders im Bad war das sehr schlecht, weil dort ein schon von der Art her kalter Schieferboden verlegt war. Wir hatten zb. zum Frühstück nur gemessene knappe 17 Grad, das nicht gerade gemütlich war und wir immer dick angezogen sein mussten. Abends sassen wir dick eingemummelt auf dem Sofa und hatten zusätzlich noch eine Decke umlegen müssen. So stelle ich mir eigentlich keinen gemütlichen Abend im Urlab vor und deswegen sind wir auch früher nach Hause abgereist. Es wäre schön gewesen, wenn die Fussbodenheizung wenigstens abends eingeschaltet worden wäre!!! Deswegen würden wir diese Wohnung nicht mehr im herbst anmieten wollen, obwohl sie ansonsten wunderschön eingerichtet war und eine perfekte Lage hatte ( 100m vom Hafen entfernt )
