On arrival we found the room to be clean but the ashtray on the balcony table had ash in it / table a little tiered

The Room interiors were good, beach is not crowded.
There was zero concept of service and hospitality, probably because it is off season for them.
Was not family friendly, even basic tea when asked was not served and no one bothered to even ask for breakfast options.
Overall very underwhelming and probably geared to a specific type/color/clientele - felt taken for granted. The restaurant was also not functional we had to survive on external food options.
Didn’t work for us as a family and we’ve stayed across the board at different types of stays in Sri Lanka and beyond.
