- La atención es muy buena.
- La dueña te ayuda en todo lo que necesites.
- Llegué muy tarde porque hubo problema con el vuelo, que salió con 2 horas de retraso y nos teníamos que quedar en la puerta esperando, con lo que ni siquiera podíamos ir a comer o beber algo, y llegué al hostal sin comer nada desde hacía muchísimas horas. Me dieron un té y unas galletas como bienvenida, que ciertamente lo recibí con mucha alegría.

Jenny y sus hijos facilitaron muchoi estancia y cualquier cosa que necesité (información, transporte, lavandería.. ). Es difícil conseguir un trato tan cercano y atento.
Si quieres alojarte en una casa típica del casco antiguo, éste es tu lugar.
Está al lado de la Terminal Marin Central lo que permite trasladarte fácilmente a las terminales Ofelia y Carcelén desde donde parten autobuses a pueblos cercanos (Mindo, Otavalo...). El metro de San Javier está a menos de 20 minutos.
Se pueden usar la cocina y el salón. Tienen detalles de bienvenida.
Como muy bien indican, es una casa vieja, pero en eso reside su encanto.

I booked the room originally for 1 night but stayed in the end for 19. The owner Jenny is amazing and alone worth to stay long time! She prepared lovely traditional breakfasts, helped me with my laundry, and I enjoyed spending my time with her. In the end, it felt like a second home to me! It’s a beautiful old house, with 2 cats and 2 dogs, I would come back any time!

For the location and price, it’s a pretty good option.
1) Was told the bathroom was private, but at least one person entered during the one night I was there
2) Communication was initially good, but then nonexistent. The only way to communicate is going to the room of the host.
3) Unfortunately Jenny wasn’t there (I don’t know if that’s temporary or permanent, but without her, the comments of the other reviewers should be understood in context.)
4) Hairs on the toilet, sink and shower. Crumbs on the bed. As someone who has stayed at thousands of accommodations, I can accept a lot, but cleanliness is hard to overlook.
5) The floor in the room feels dangerous when walking over the center.
6) Unfortunately there was a family that was talking loudly for a long time, and then the bar next door was going until 4AM+. I might have slept an hour?
I’m trying to be as fair as possible with this review, but it definitely seems like the rating is falsely inflated if Jenny isn’t there
