Fantastic hotel opposite the wharves with great cafes, museums and easy access to the Texel Ferry. Large room with a great view of the canal and helpful curtains to block out the light. Breakfast was one of the best we enjoyed on our trip! Late check-in was easy via a code system sent to us earlier.
A few coat hangers in the room would be a bonus. Also, as mentioned in several reviews, the bathroom (roomy with all necessities) has sensor lights which turn off after a few minutes, leaving you in the dark in the shower! Someone else has to come in to activate it, and we couldn't find any switches for it!

Lovely cosy room at the top floor. Brilliant location if you’re planning a trip to Texel. Excellent breakfast that is included in the price
A few minor issues. Extension socket to the coffee machine didn’t work. Had to move it to my beside table! Hairdryer is terrible. That is in room 8. We loved the balcony as long as the sun is out!

The location was great and the staff was nice. I liked the design of the shower and the general room layout. The toilet and bed was clean.
The lights of the shower didn't turn off during the night for some reason and we couldn't find the switch - we ended up unplugging them. The room's walls and ceiling were not clean and there were many spiders. Mosquitoes were buzzing around because the windows were open when we arrived and the AC didn't sufficiently cool the room during the night. The decorative items in the furniture next to the window were also very dusty. There was an unpleasant smell, but we could get used to it.
