Small friendly hotel nice and close to the beach. Lovely garden to relax in and a plunge pool to cool off in. Simple plentiful breakfast. Great shower. Balcony where you can sit and watch the locals go about their day. Everything you need really close…restaurants, mini market, alcohol shop. Lovely beach and you can rent sun loungers at nearby beach front resort for $5 each.
The toilet moved and banged getting on and off…needs to be fixed. Roof top terrace but no a availability of food or drink.

Perfect stay
I absolutely loved my stay at Zazicrown otel ! ❤️ From the moment I arrived until the moment I left, everything was wonderful.
The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. A special thank you to the management for creating such a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Everyone genuinely cared about the guests and was always ready to help with a smile.
The rooms were clean, comfortable and well maintained, and the whole property was beautifully kept. The atmosphere was peaceful, relaxing and felt like a home away from home.
I have stayed at several places in Zanzibar, and this was definitely one of my favorite experiences. I would happily come back here again and would highly recommend Zanzicrown otel to anyone visiting Nungwi

An incredible stay. Humble, simple and beautiful. I loved hanging out and reading in the garden and rinsing off in the plunge pool after a sunset swim at the beach. There’s also a spacious rooftop space with a great view of the beach.
Loved the breakfast- fresh fruit and your choice of eggs every morning. The staff were so friendly and so helpful. Soon felt like home after only a short 6 night stay. 2 minute walk from the beach.
Imaani and the rest of the team made our stay extra special. An unforgettable stay at Zanzicrown!!

Great location, with parking available right next to the hotel. 100 meters from the ocean.
A wonderful beach with plenty of different dining options.
The hotel breakfast was simple but filling—eggs, toast, yogurt, homemade cake, tea/coffee, fresh juice.
There was also a small pool in the garden and plenty of places to just relax. There was also a wide selection of various books on site.
There were many kiosks near the hotel where you could buy snacks and cold drinks.
The hotel grounds are enclosed by a fence.
Shower gel and shampoo were provided in the bathroom. You could also make tea and coffee in the room.
Helpful staff. The Wi-Fi worked very well.
Since the island has very poor electricity infrastructure, power outages occurred very often. The air conditioner didn’t always turn on automatically. This didn’t bother us much. Power outages aren’t the hotel’s fault. You just have to expect them.
