Great location with restaurants nearby. Comfortable bed and pleasant breakfast.
It was quite quiet, with the communal area downstairs shutting around 17:30.

A lovely hotel in a lovely city! Great position and very nice decor in a colonial building!

The location is great at the heart of Saint Louis. The room is clean. The property is nice.
I had two bookings for the property. The first one for three nights and the second one for one night. After check in, the property owner asked me to provide credit card details over the phone, as the owner was in another country at that time. I did not want to give card details over the phone as this was vulnerable to card abuse. Reluctantly I agreed to pay cash, which I did not plan. However, I felt that the owner started to put the blame on me, saying other guests had no problem of giving credit card details over the phone, and the best method was prepayment, although in reality the property chose not to charge prepayment. The owner even asked me to change to another hotel, even though she knew that all hotels and guest houses in the area were booked out on the last night. Eventually I was allowed to stay after some hassles.
