The proximity to the beach. It was comfortable. The water pressure was perfect and very comfortable beds.

Unfortunately, our family stay fell well short of the standard and experience we expected from the listing

The swimming pool on the property was good.

We appreciated the host responding quickly when we raised concerns about the unacceptable towels provided on arrival and replacing them that evening. Unfortunately, the accommodation did not meet the standard we expected from the listing or the price paid. The bedding, particularly in the children’s room, was unacceptable on our first night. There were also several maintenance issues, including intermittent Wi-Fi, a missing bath stopper, a broken oven seal and worn controls, and a bathroom window temporarily stuffed with tissues. The sofa was worn and uncomfortable, and the dining table was inadequate for a family of four. Most concerning was the undisclosed construction around the property. Waking to find a worker walking across our balcony was intrusive, and we were also not informed that the beach gate was not functioning. The host met with me and invited detailed feedback, which I provided privately and constructively. He acknowledged it and said he would respond. I took him at his word and had hoped to keep the matter private, but unfortunately no further response came. Taken together, there was a significant gap between the property as presented and our actual experience. Given the lack of follow-up, I feel it is fair to share this review so future guests can make an informed decision.

Disappointing.

The location

The beds were uncomfortable. The bedding was not clean or enough blankets provided for the warmth. The stairs were shakey and unstable. The lounge did not have curtains therefor we could not stay down there late with the lights on. The foot and car traffic noise was insane. No view of the ocean.
