Canaletto Luxury Suites - San Marco Luxury

An extraordinary location with a view that was hard to beat. The size of the suite was enormous and the quality of fittings was first class, including a sauna (which we did not use, sadly - instructions would have been helpful). The breakfast was beautifully prepared and delivered in a half-hour timeslot of our choosing (towards the end of the slot on two mornings, so we made sure to request an earlier one for departure day to be sure not to rush it). A VERY effective air-conditioning system.

The en-suite for one bedroom was essentially next door to the second bedroom and, therefore, rather inconvenient in a suit of this size. But I guess it was it only way it could be achieved in the design. The ice-box latch was broken and the ice had congealed when we arrived but it was cleaned out on request (the latch remained broken, however).

The luxury, size of the room and location were amazing.

Bit pricey

Amazing location we had the suite with the balcony which was outstanding with a view over the square and Basilica with the Grand Canal beyond. We will without a doubt stay there again as long as we get that suite

We had a major flight delay and could not get in touch with staff regarding cancelling a first reservation. Our night at the end of our trip was fine, but I don’t plan to visit Venice again as I feel it is too overrun with tourists.
