Hôtel des Horlogers

Overall a great experience. A luxury design hotel nestled in the rather low key Vallee de Joux and totally integrated in the area, with very scenic views of the surrounding nature and a great attention to small details throughout the property and in the room. You feel good there and wish the stay was longer! Unconventional and very cosy, design-minded yet practical.

Service at the Brasserie in the evening, where we had a table reserved, was a bit underwhelming. Service was rather slow, and could have been more efficient. The number of staff attending was probably not enough. The breakfast at the same location left us with the same impression. Staff present were very nice though.

We were road tripping around in Switzerland, so this was our spot for when we visited Geneva and was going to move on to another location the day after. And that was a great decision to be honest. The hotel itself is very chic and cozy. All of the staff, especially Eleanor, was very warm, very welcoming and attentive. All the rooms face the same direction, so in whichever room you choose to stay, you wake up to a beautiful and relaxing view of the valley in front. The facilites, the spa area, the library and the gym are all designed beautifully. The breakfast was top notch as well, kudos to the chefs working in the background. (Also, the kitchen is displayed with a see through glass, separating it with the dining area, a nice touch.) All around a definite 10 from us!

Absolutely loved this place - service was great!! Nothing was too much of a problem. Reception was very responsive and helpful. Rooms were very comfortable and so calming. They were great with providing super clean and good quality baby amenities too. Breakfast was filled with quality items as well from the region.

Would have loved a pool or bathtub

Beautiful Hotel with great service, best bed ever. Restaurant perfect.

Hotelbar could stay open longer since there isn't much in the valley.
