Overall, we had a lovely stay. The apartment is charming, and has a beautiful view. One of our favorite things was watching all the different tropical birds flying around throughout the day, it really added to the island atmosphere. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, and having both air conditioning and a fan was great. The host was also kind and welcoming. The location is a great starting point for exploring Praslin, with quick access to some of the island’s most beautiful beaches as well as Vallée de Mai. However, having a car is almost essential if you’re staying here and want to explore the island comfortably.
There were a few small downsides worth mentioning. The bed was a little too firm for us and not the most comfortable. The road leading up to the apartment is also very steep, so you need to be a bit careful, especially if you’re not used to driving on roads like that. That said, steep roads are pretty common around Praslin anyway, so it’s not really something specific to this property.
The apartment was not very well soundproofed and there was some construction happening on site during our stay, although it honestly didn’t bother us much.

Bei Anreise Hat Kevin uns beim Gepäck tragen geholfen und uns frisches Obst bereit gestellt.
Die Aussicht ist wunderschön! Die Unterkunft ist auf einem kleinen Berg gelegen und die Straße fürs Auto ist sehr steil und recht schmal. Das sollte man einfach bedenken. Wir hätten uns gewünscht, dass man auch mal was zu Fuß unternehmen kann. Für zum Strand laufen oder zu einem unten gelegenen Restaurant muss man ein bisschen Kondition aufbringen. Man benötigt auf jeden Fall ein Auto! Der Strand direkt unten ist aber sowieso nicht so schön.
Der Check in war lieblos. Kevin hat uns grob die wohnung gezeigt. Man wollte uns zeigen wie der Tresor funktioniert, das hat nicht geklappt, dann wurde es gelassen und auf einen Schlüssel verwiesen.
Kevin verschwand schnell, mit dem Hinweis auch in Bezug auf Bezahlung, dass seine Frau eigentlich den Check in macht und später nochmal kommt. Petra haben wir den ganzen Aufenthalt nicht kennengelernt außer beim Check-Out.
Die Wohnung ist insgesamt okay, aber nicht wie auf ihrer Internetseite angegeben luxuriös. Die Toilette war nicht sauber und generell wirkte es nur halbherzig sauber gemacht und eingerichtet.
Es waren noch eine leere Handyhüllen Verpackung und eine Buchungsbestätigung eines Autos von den Gästen aus Dezember in der Wohnung.
Die Dusche hat fast jede Nacht so laut getropft, dass man aufgewacht ist. Die Klimaanlage war direkt aufs Bett gerichtet, nachts anschalten geht also auf keinen Fall. Ein zusätzlicher Ventilator klackerte ab und zu, sodass man auch hier aufgewacht ist. Das Bett ist mehr als unbequem, die Matratze ist hart und man spürt die Federn.
Das Licht, was in der Wohnung und auch auf dem Balkon verbaut ist, ist weiß, zu hell und ungemütlich. Das war wirklich sehr störend.
Es gibt Hunde auf dem Grundstück. Für uns nicht weiter schlimm, jedoch sollte man dies bedenken. Einer kam auch auf die Terrasse und in unsere Wohnung. Nicht so super.
Außerdem ist die Einfahrt, auch zu den auf dem Grundstück wohnenden Vermietern, direkt neben dem Balkon. Ständig laufen Leute oder fahren Autos vorbei.
Mind. 2x am Tag fuhr ein LKW die Einfahrt vor unserem Balkon rein und raus…
Auf dem Balkon wären Sitzkissen schön.
Wir waren zu zweit hier. Ich glaube das große 4er Appartement oben ist besser und man bekommt wenig von den Hunden und den Vermietern mit.
Wir würden diese Unterkunft auf keinen Fall erneut buchen.
