La villa está situada a un par de kilómetros de la playa en un rincón tranquilo y seguro, unas vistas bonitas a la jungla y a los arrozales. La familia de Sandaru vive en la planta baja y están pendientes para cualquier necesidad pero respetuosos de la intimidad de los huéspedes. El apartamento es una joya preciosa. Espacioso , nuevo, limpio y fresco. La cocina equipada, la habitación con cama extra grande, el baño muy grande con ducha fría y caliente y la graciosa terraza cubierta que puede utilizarse como espacio de trabajo porqué tiene enchufes y buena señal de internet. Me quedé unos diez días en este lugar de sueño y deseo volver para quedarme más tiempo. Weligama es un pueblo auténtico y las playas cercanas son muy buenas. Desde allá es muy fácil moverse con el tren o los autobuses.

One of my favourite places to stay during my whole trip in Sri Lanka. 5 minutes away from the busy town and surrounded by nature and birds sounds. It's a room with a seperate balcony and the whole flat has so many buttons for different lights. I love that. It is quiet and clean, kitchen and fridge included. Lovely owners and playful kids and almost every day they brought me a fresh coconut or juice. I will definitely come back when I visit Weligama the next time.❤️❤️🙏🙏

I have stayed in several places in the South, and this is by far the best place I’ve ever stayed.
The place is tucked away in a small village, surrounded by lush greenery and paddy fields. The bed is very comfortable, and the kitchen is fully equipped. But my favorite part is the balcony, it gives you almost a 360° view, perfect for sipping tea or having breakfast while taking in the beauty around you. The nature here is incredible, and the amount of animals you see feels endless.
Above all, I believe what truly sets Sandaru Holidays apart is the hospitality. It feels like having your own family, like a mom, dad, two brothers, a sister, and two little kids. They made me feel completely at home. You can ask them anything without hesitation. Their kind smiles and the spontaneous juices or little treats they offer are genuinely heartwarming. Even the neighbors are mostly their relatives, so you feel very safe and surrounded by kind people.
Speaking of safety, I felt extremely safe here. At the same time, I really value my privacy, and this place gives you exactly that. I’m quite introverted, and I had all the quiet time I needed without any disturbances.
The location is also great, just 5 minutes to Weligama town by motorcycle. From the same road, you can also head towards Ahangama. It’s a slightly longer route, but the ride is absolutely beautiful.
At night, it gets surprisingly cold, almost like being in the mountains. Early mornings and sunsets are perfect for a short walk to the main road, where you’ll be greeted by golden paddy fields and farmers going about their day.
I honestly don’t have enough words to describe how amazing this place is. I’m truly grateful to Sandaru and his family for giving me such a beautiful experience.
