The property was beautiful. We were welcomed with a lovely warm welcome by Stacey. The bathroom was stunning. Need the best bath I’ve had for a long time. There are steps, but the light had been left on for us till we arrived back.

I loved the room, it was so spacious with comfortable double bed and large sofa. The bathroom too was large with walk in shower and a bath, both of which I used. Important to me were the windows, I like a good view and the row of 5 windows gave me a great view of trees across the valley. It is very quiet because the room is at the back of the house. I had everything I needed, good wifi, kettle, tea, coffee, milk, TV. I only self catered my own breakfasts but had use of the kitchen and room in the fridge for my overnight oats, which worked well. I went out for dinners. It is only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Holmfirth. Stacey was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this property.
There is only street parking, which I knew but is a slight downside. I managed to park right outside the property twice but later one evening I had to park a little further down. I was lucky but could invisage the possibiliy of having to park further away. Turning the car around was tricky when needed because the road is too busy to turn in, in my view, so I drove until I could find a better space to turn. But then I am a cautious driver.

The location was perfect for our visit to Holmfirth. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.
Our only negative point (which I'm quite reluctant to mention) was the strong damp smell in the adjoining bathroom. The towels also had an unpleasant smell. The bathroom however was well fitted out with a large walk in shower and the large bath was an added bonus.
