Everything was better than expected. The crew is very polite, welcoming and helped me with all questions. Especially the every day taxi calling was very helpul. My view from the balcony was exceptional. Great Benefit: close by is one of the two liquor bars in Marsa.

Far from city. Facilities were not as described. Listing said hot tub (we never saw), wet bar (didn’t have), tub (didn’t have), and walk in shower (just a shower in the middle of the bathroom with no door so everything got wet. Also food was mediocre and overpriced.

The staff and the manager were very friendly, they allowed us even to cancel our booking three days before our planned departure without covering the charges. In principle, the hotel itself is about to become a nice setting. The Egyptian style breakfast is OK.
The hotel is 3 km away from city centre in an almost abonned area (though another hotel disposes of a small bar/restaurant nearby). It is somehow still under construction, and there were no other guests in the numerous already constructed rooms. There were no blankets at all, bed sheets had to be utilised as blankets. AC was working well, WiFi less performing... The town of Masra Alam is definitely of little interest, the less for families. To organise diving on an individual base is complicated and expensive. Many 'diving centres' seem to exist only in the internet, they dispose of some equipment and bring you from your hotel directly to the snorkeling or diving spot.
