Clean, easy to find, super comfortable! Highly recommend for those on the Camino!

Martinez stands out for several reasons, especially its location. It is wonderfully central, right in the heart of Caldas de Reis and close to a pharmacy - my feet were really painful by now - and a supermarket and places to enjoy a meal or a drink.
After a long day on the Camino, the last thing one wants is another long walk to find food, explore the town, or return to one’s accommodation. The location made that possible. It was also ideally positioned for the start of the following day’s walk, which made the whole experience practical as well as enjoyable.
Furthermore, the room that I was in, was very spacious.
Another standout was the host. She was very helpful and tried her best to make things easier.
The areas that are challenging:
1. I didn't realise that the apartment doesn't have an air conditioner. This is essential when there is a heat wave. It makes sleeping a challenge.
2. The signage outside is non existent. It made a challenge to get to the sweet spot where you are exactly where you need to be.
3. The bathroom needs a deep clean, e.g. the grout between the tiles are not clean and the extractor fan has build-up over a period of time that has not been cleaned.
4. The sitting room / lounge area is great and one has access to a fridge and kettle. However, there are no cutlery and bowls to have a yogurt before you depart.
These should be relatively simple to fix and would make the venue top class.

Very comfortable bed. Spotless bathroom. Enjoyed the coffee and coffee machine. Check-in process was easy.
There was a communal fridge which we enjoyed but would have enjoyed a few plates and cutlery to use.

Clean, tidy, space, location quiet, near to Camino. Resteraunts and supermarket near by.
Finding it, getting access was like an Escape Room in reverse! Got around the no bath plug with some Blutack as a plug.
Bed and floor really creaky, walls very thin we could hear the conversation next door. Bed mattress very tired as it had two dips where people have been laying.
Could really benefit from air con but left window open.
