Home cooked meals were delicious and comforting. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The highlight of our stay was the tour provided by the staff and the walk to the natural spring along the Falaj.
The floors of the bedrooms were dusty but slippers were provided.

Mr. Ahmed, the owner of the property, is a true host to his guests. His family has lived in the village for generations and he gave us a free 1 hour walking tour around the Misfah Al Abriyeen. He also taught us some Arabic phrases and about the food. The building itself is incredible, and you will feel like you went back in time. Bed was clean and comfy and room had a great view.
The bathroom was basic but the shower has hot water

We were a norwegian family of eigth, 3 generations, that planned a 12 days holiday in Oman.
We were very happy with our stay at Harit Al Misfat Inn. Perfect location in the old village of Misfat. Charming rooms in an old mud brick building. Food was ok and we appreciated good service. We stayed during Ramadan but we got food for breakfast and lunch in boxes and nice buffet for dinner.
No dislike but make your bag/suitcase as light as possible due to narrow steps down to the Inn.
