Craven Vue truly lives up to being a "home away from home" - I can't praise it enough. It's warm, homely, welcoming, imaculate, spotless and fully equipped with everything one may need. Kitchen is stocked up with tea/coffee and milk as well as cooking basics such as salt/pepper and some herbs, which was brilliant and very welcomed after a long journey. :-) Craven Vue's location is absolutely perfect - stone-throw from Skipton High Street, Skipton Castle and both Bus Station and also Train Station. A big cudos and thanks to our host Nigel - while we had a fully prepped plan for our weekend, if we didn't we wouldn't have had any troubles - Nigel was happy to offer suggestions of what to do and where to go and Craven Vue is also stocked up with lots and lots of maps and leaflets of various trasure walks and destinations Yorkshire Dales have to offer. Another very pleasant surprise (and further big tick in the 'home away from home' ) - you will find a wonderful little library in the dining room! I so wish we came for longer, so I could read through every book and we could go on many more walks and trips and hikes. :-) We've genuinely had absolutely amazing time and we will be back in the Summer for longer.
There is hardly anything I can really put here as I would be 'splitting hairs' and it's not really "we didn't like it" thing - more of a 'just a note' thing. :-) My 16-year old son slept in the twin beds room and while the bed was extremely comfortable and the duvet was perfectly normal single size, the duvet 'cover' was slightly narrower, which made the duvet a bit narrow for an adult too. It would be absolutely fine for a small child though. Just a note. It didn't take away from anything else. :-)

Lovely homely property, very clean and well presented and close to the town centre with a cut through at the bottom of the street.
Nothing really. The stairs are steep, but typical of this type of property.

This lovely end-terrace house is a perfect base for a Yorkshire Dales holiday. It is close to Skipton town centre, exceptionally clean and comfortable, well-equipped and very stylish. Skipton itself is a delightful town with lots to see and do and offering a huge choice of good places to eat. We definitely intend to stay here again.

the house was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Had everything you could need for a self catering holiday. Great location, just a few minutes walk into the centre of Skipton but on a very quiet street. Parking was fine, we managed to get a spot close to the house no problem.
