Hotel muy agradable. Buena relación calidad-precio.
Ideal para hacer estancia intermedia en el camino entre España y Francia. Desayuno muy bueno.
Obviando lo de las campanas superó nuestras expectativas.
Lo único q no me gustó fue la insonorización. La iglesia estaba justo al lado y las campanas sonaron durante toda la noche, con repetición de cada hora a los 5 minutos. Deberían solucionar este problema porque nos impidió descansar. Complicado aparcar en las inmediaciones.

Laroque is a beautiful village and Le Refuge is a gorgeous old building. The terraces are lovely and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The larger bed was comfy.
Lack of attention to detail.
We weren't offered any help with our luggage which we had to heft up 2 flights of stairs.
Because there's no parking (we knew this) we had to park in the public car park 300m downhill from Le Refuge.
The room wasn't soundproofed so the bells from the church opposite which ring twice on the hour and half hour kept us awake all night. There was also a lot of noise from the bar downstairs and from the street too so not a very restful stay.
The air-con was a portable unit with a hose that fed out through the window so if you wanted air-con you had to leave the window open and therefore couldn't close the curtains fully which left in light. There was a mosquito screen on the window but they still got in through little gaps at the side and we got several bites the first night.
I stayed with my daughter and only one bed in the room was made up when we arrived. There was no hand soap in the dispenser but we just used our own toiletries.
Within the room to get to the bed section you have to use steep wooden steps down which would be tricky for people with mobility issues.
For breakfast which was served at the table there was no fresh juice so we were offered bottles of juice and the yogurt was either peach or strawberry - it was fine but nothing exceptional.
The staff were really nice but we wouldn't stay there again.
