An unexpected glimpse back in time, with sufficient mod-cons, but not so many as to dilute the olde world feel. We liked the old furniture and quirky, decorative touches, but also the retention of tiny doors, floor boards, door handles etc. You can really feel how simple old apartments must have been. We stayed on a wet, cool summer night and the place was warm. It was quiet other than a few squeaky floorboards. The kitchen is simply but adequately equipped. Instructions were clear, and the parking permit is comforting to have.

Nothing really. Just be aware that the one and only bathroom is accessed via the master bedroom: children or guests from the 2nd bedroom must pass through for night-time pit stops. Aug2023: The building had scaffolding around as major roof work was underway but this did not affect our weekend stay.

Beautiful apartment decorated in traditional style in historic centre, very spacious. Highly recommended!

Low doors, mind your head. Our apartment was on the third floor.

The location was great, right in the historic area. We were given detailed instructions on how to get into the apartment so had no problems with that. There are good places to eat real close by (walking distance). We were supplied with a parking permit. Our apartment had two bedrooms and contained some antiques, which seemed appropriate for the historical building we were in. I slept in the master bedroom. The bed seemed comfortable (though I woke up the first morning with sore hips). The pillow supplied seemed okay, but I still decided to use my own. The bathroom is modern and has a good shower (well-enclosed, good water pressure, temperature of water only changed a little). There is a clothes washing machine in the bathroom, but it did not appear to be one of those that can also dry, so I was surprised not to find a drying rack. (We didn't use the clothes washer.)

There was a lot of loud noise our first afternoon and first morning there due to scaffolding being set up on the outside of the building. (We were relieved that the actual roof work did not begin while we were there.) There was also noise from the adjoining apartment that could be heard in our second bedroom (loud voices). The curtains in the master bedroom let in too much of the summer light early in the morning and don't seem to provide much privacy at night if one has the light on. The blinds in the bathroom also don't close as tight as mine at home, so that was also a privacy concern, especially when people are walking around on the scaffolding (even though they would have to bend down to look in the window). We taped plastic bags over the bathroom blinds, which we took off right before we left. The bathroom is only accessible from the master bedroom. There were no facecloths and no bathmat. Though there is lots of shelf space in the bathroom, there is no towel rack or hooks. I didn't like the feel of the duvet cover and would have preferred cotton. I got a small sliver in my finger from a dining room chair. There was an unpleasant smell in the entryway to our apartment (though not in the main living areas). I was somewhat concerned that there seemed to be no second exit out of the third floor where our apartment was. Note that you have to carry your luggage up two flights of stairs. You also need to watch your head going through the low doorways (not all the doorways are low).

Great location, perfect for 2 people. Large bedroom. Very comfortable. Property owner was very responsive when we had a couple of questions.

It would be nice to have some place to hang things in the bedroom. There is a lot of space. An extra towel rod in the bathroom would also be helpful.

The parking is free. The property is central located yet very quiet, you wouldn't notice the neighbors at all.

There was no toaster in the kitchen. Not all TV channels work. The entrance is hard to find for a foreign visitor like me. Hooks in the bathroom are on the ceiling, two on the side of the vanity, they are either too high or too low.

Interior and furniture used from the 70s. Could have been resored in old style like the building.

Dish cloths and kitchen towels would have made things a little easier.

The apartment was wonderful. It was very clean and comfortable. The location was great.
