I had a great stay here. The location was excellent, with easy access to everything, and the building itself was very nice and comfortable.

A large apartment to accommodate 7 people, two floors gave us the privacy, including three bedrooms. 3 bathrooms and 2 showers help to avoid queues for a big family. Clean apartment and very quiet. The staff were also available and so friendly.
The location could have been better, as it was a 10-minute uphill walk to get to public transport. I have to admit that this is pretty much the case everywhere in Istanbul.

New modern apartment in new complex fairly close to Taksim Square (10 minutes walk down a dingy little street - I guess most people drive or take a taxi). The apartment was very modern and new. Great tv and internet connection. It as very quiet and the beds were great. Very spacious. Large fridge and freezer.
Water and soda ++ easily picked up at the corner store. Groceries at the main street closer to the square.
24-hour apartment complex security + they can call a taxi for you.
Easy communication through bookings.com (since I don't have WhatsApp)
Could have used a few more kitchen items

The flat was spacious and the living room was nice. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony. The building was secure and the security guards on the front desk were friendly. I appreciated the water on arrival. Communication with the property via WhatsApp was easy.
There were a number of things that were challenging about the stay - firstly we were asked to pay a €200 deposit, which had to be in cash. Thankfully we had enough cash but it would have been difficult if we hadn't. The cash was returned at the end without a problem but it was unclear how tidy we had to leave the flat. This made it feel more like a short term rental rather than a holiday let.
The bedding was old and felt unpleasant. The bed had no protective cover and was old and lumpy. This really impacted how we felt about the flat.
The location was difficult for a sightseeing trip, especially with a child. The road outside is narrow and down a steep hill. To get to the metro you had to walk up a steep hill without consistent pavements, it took about 10 mins.
The swimming pool itself was ok, but the surroundings needed maintenance. The swimming pool was closed without warning one day to change the water. The opening hours were a bit restrictive and we were asked to leave after 7pm at night. The sauna and steam room looked nice but weren't turned on.
Cleaning of the flat was an extra €15 and washing €10. There was no washing machine in the flat. There were only 2 toilet rolls and when we were running out we were allowed 2 more but then told we had to buy them. The tea and coffee selection was rubbish, with a few sad sachets.
Overall it felt like a short term rental rather than a holiday let. The property added to the stress of our holiday unfortunately. At the very least, they need to get new sheets, a new bed and provide more toilet rolls.
