One of the best locations if you look or a quite, peaceful place with absolutely stunning lake views however make sure which room/house you will get if possible since some of them have drastically better views than others, we had the one closest to the lake.
Grundlsee is one of the best option in the region when it comes to lakes - not crowdy, clean water with decent access to the water, also the size is walkable. In case of groceries or restaurants rather to go to Bad Aussee, not much good options around the hotel.
Matress very comfortable on stiffer side with multiple pillow options.
Cleaning lady came just one time (at the beginning) during our 5 days stay, we expected better service. Kitchen lack microwave and oven in case you wonder. Bathroom could be bigger and better solved (buth tub with partial glass wall -> water everywhere). The upcharge for the view and location could be lower however worth it in the end - hard to leave.

The view is outstanding, hard to match, that is if your room does face the lake. There are some rooms with no lake view.
If you get a room with the lake view, it will be a memorable one.
The bed was comfortable and the kitchenette very well equiped. There was also an air fan available for hot days.
The kitchenette stove, for our room at least, did not heat enough, not even to boil an egg, so do not plan to cook. This was not a problem for us, but it might be, if you plan cooking.
I chose the package with no cleaning service, but it would have been nice to take at least the garbage out or guide on how to dispose of it.
Bathroom with no window or ventilation.
The room is a bit outdated, but not that big of a deal.

This is an absolutely stunning resort! The location is amazing, just a 3-minute walk to a breathtaking lake with a beautiful view. The restaurant on-site is fantastic, and overall, the place itself is gorgeous and highly recommended.
Our specific room was a bit less comfortable. It was divided into two floors, which made it less fun and convenient for us. Additionally, there was a slightly unpleasant smell, though I assume it was just due to the natural moisture in the wooden cabins. I'm sure there are better rooms in the resort that is amazing, but the one we got was just a bit less comfortable.
