This was my first time to Texas, it left a bitter taste in my memory

Location is awesome

Our stay at 1811 Treehouse Lane Townhouse was unfortunately marked by a series of maintenance and cleanliness issues that significantly impacted our experience. The morning after our arrival, we woke up to find the upstairs bathroom flooded. Although the shower had been turned off, it dripped throughout the night, and the sliding shower doors did not close properly, allowing water to spill onto the bathroom floor. When we went downstairs, we also discovered water leaking through the ceiling directly below the upstairs bathroom, presumably from the shower above. In addition, the faucet in the downstairs half-bath was constantly dripping. We immediately contacted our booking representative and were advised that a technician would come to inspect the issues. While the technician was courteous and worked diligently, the repairs took most of the day, requiring multiple visits and trips to purchase the correct parts. The shower and ceiling leak were eventually addressed, but the dripping half-bath faucet remained unresolved throughout our stay. Several days later, my son and nephew joined us and stayed in the spare bedroom. The following morning, my nephew reported being bitten during the night. Upon inspection, we found numerous welts on his face, back, chest, and legs. We thoroughly examined the bed and discovered what appeared to be a bed bug in the crevice of the bed frame, which we photographed. We also noticed blood spots on the sheets, likely from bed bugs being crushed during sleep. We immediately reported our findings to the property owner. Unfortunately, the owner did not make time to meet with us in person and only responded several days later, stating that no bed bugs had been found. We were also accused of staining the shower with hair dye, despite the fact that no one in our family uses hair dye. This accusation felt particularly unfair given the maintenance problems and cleanliness concerns we had already experienced. Overall, our stay was one headache
