The owner Fernando is tops. He made us dinner in the literal kitchen, plus so much more help.
Just be aware that’s it’s a little bit different than the typical place this pilgrim has stayed at. But that made it fun and unique.

My visit to Rest Life El Salto was one of the best on my Camino. Fernando was the perfect host sharing his beautiful space with us and providing a caring environment. My room was very comfortable and the communal dinner was delicious! It will be a special memory for me.

We enjoyed the warmth and friendliness of the welcome we received. I wish we’d had longer in this old stone home and been in time for a shared meal. As it was we had a large comfortable room for 3. We also needed to find a clinic and found Fernandes to be kind and helpful.

You step into a 150 year old mill that is amazing, very comfortable and the host Fernando cooks the most amazing meal, this is a most stop for all pilgrims and tourists alike
