This spacious apartment is on the lower level of the main house. It is completely separate with its own covered entrance. Located in South Bellingham within minutes to parks, trails, beaches, shopping and WWU. Galbraith trailheads are 2.3 miles away for those who enjoy mountain biking. For walking, hiking or running we have many options including Lake Padden, Whatcom Falls, Interurban Trail, and Boulevard Park all within minutes of our home. Our family resides above the apartment with our own separate entrance. With a simple call or text during your stay we can assist with any questions or issues you have. We understand if you require your privacy and we will make sure to accommodate. Cozy, comfortable 2 bdrm unit attached to a home. Was very quiet and clean. The gas fireplace made it very comfortable if it was chilly. Very comfortable beds too! Hope to stay there again. Only surprise is that there is not a full kitchen. There is not a stove or oven. The host was quick to respond and very pleasant !

This is a wonderful unit in a great section of Bellingham. Beautiful, clean, comfortable and Stephanie has it extremely well appointed. We would definitely stay there again. The family lives above and you could hear some living noises but nothing loud or disturbing. If you have mobility issues, check with Stephanie first (awkward walk thru yard, high bed, low toilet/no bars) We were very happy there!

The space was perfect for my sister and I-we had our own bedrooms and a cozy living space! We loved the neighborhood and felt like everything we wanted to do was within a 10 minute drive. Our host was wonderful and accommodating! The apartment was very clean, comfortable beds, with a great little kitchenette. Look forward to our next visit!

Perfect location for dropping off our kiddo at WWU. Stephanie's place is cozy, clean and seriously the most well-stocked rental I've ever been in - she's thought of EVERYTHING you may need! Even though it's below their home, it still felt private. For those renters with extreme scent sensitivities, there was a pretty strong (but nice) smell when we arrived, but we were able to use fans and open the door to dissipate it a bit (I'm one of those with sensitivities, and didn't think to let the host know prior - my bad). Overall, would absolutely stay here again!

Stephanie's apartment was perfect for my wife and me. It was cozy without feeling small or cramped. It was amazingly clean and comfortable. The apartment had everything a renter may need. Stephanie was very quick to respond to texts but was not intrusive on our stay. A definite 5-star location!

This beautiful VRBO was the perfect place us when we spent a few days in Bellingham. The owner is great to work with. The apartment is nicely decorated and situated in a quiet neighborhood. We will definitely be booking here again.

This unit has every possible amenity, shampoo, laundry detergent, bandaids, luxury bedding, fluffy white towels, a beautiful setting. The hosts have thought of everything to make the stay pleasant.

This apartment is in a good location for getting around Bellingham. The beds are comfortable; there is plenty of space and outdoor seating. The unit was very clean. Stephanie was accommodating. We would be happy to stay there again.

Stephanie's VRBO was a really nice experience! It is a hop, skip and jump from downtown Bellingham. The accommodations were well thought out-- she really has thought of everything! We even borrowed a small lunch box to go on a picnic one of the days. Check-in was easy and the place was spotless! Much appreciation for this wonderful, relaxing stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, organized, and perfectly clean home. The beds were super comfortable, and there were chocolates awaiting us, and every amenity you could wish for. The labeling helped tremendously. The parking was convenient, and the neighborhood is safe and welcoming. I would love to stay here again next time I'm in Bellingham. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We enjoyed our short stay in this cozy apartment. Though it is a basement apartment under an occupied family home, it feels very private with a separate entrance. The space is bright and clean and comfortably decorated. The hosts thoughtfully provided everything you could possibly need.

Perfect home for our guys weekend golf trip to Lake Padden. House is equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Fireplace in June was 👍. Loved the outdoor tennis courts and basketball hoop. First rate communication and check in process.

Perfect and cute little place for a weekend in Bellingham with my BFF. We went to an alumni event at WWU. Stephanie’s place was not too far from Western and in a nice neighborhood. It had everything we needed for a fun weekend away.

If coming to Bellingham, this rental is a perfectly located affordable alternative to hotel! It is nicely appointed with superior beds and linen! The only thing missing is a hot plate - everything else is perfect for a short stay!

We were in town to tour the local university and this was the perfect place to stay. It was an easy drive to everywhere we needed to be. Very clean and cozy, great fireplace. Beautiful neighborhood. Super comfy beds! The hosts were very friendly, great communication! We will be back!
