Nestled in Hendersonville, this charming cabin for $185 per night is a great option for your next trip. Just minutes north of Nashville, is our Historic Log Cabin built from reclaimed Civil War era logs, it’s recent extensive renovation revealed county doc’s showing it was developed by builder to the stars, Braxton Dixon forJune and Johnny Cash. Perfect for artists or musicians retreat. Full kitchen, bathroom downstairs, loft honeymoon suite w/half bath upstairs, king bed, living/dining room, Stone fireplace & laundry. Sleeps 3 max. Deck overlooking treed acreage. Just 30 mins or less to Nashville attractions, Grand Ol Opry & airport, a quick drive to local restaurants etc The space Approximately 1,000 square feet antique log cabin located in Hendersonville Tennessee on the “Cash Mountain” subdivision. Cabin built and decorated with nearly all reclaimed or repurposed furnishings. Complete remodel integrating modern conveniences with antique touches in keeping with the overall history of this unique space. Gorgeous honeymoon suite is upstairs, with sink and toilet. Full kitchen, living & dining room, full bath (large soaking tub with shower nozzle) and laundry on main level. Stone fireplace with gas logs add to the warmth and ambiance. Wrap around deck with outdoor dining table and front porch rockers offer a gorgeous place for soaking in nature. Guest access There is a paved driveway to cabin, onsite parking for your car. Cabin is approximately 30 mins to Grand ol Oprey, Nashville and Airport. Restaurants and shopping are a 10 min drive to Hendersonville, White House or Goodlettsville. Self check in available with electronic coded locks. Other things to note This cabin is one of 4 structures that originally existed on this property. Much of the property that encompasses the entire Cash Mountain subdivision was developed by Builder to the Stars, Braxton Dixon for June and Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Tricia Yearwood and others. Two of the structures on this piece of property were destroyed by fire and all that remains are the fireplaces with the “heart” motif signifying development by Braxton Dixon.

The June Bug Cabin was excellent for my wife and I. The history with John and June Cash tied to this property was intriguing. The owner/host was super helpful and everything was as advertised. Recommend to any couple coming to the Nashville area. Great church nearby —- check it out Long Hollow!

The pictures of this cabin pale in comparison to how beautiful it is in person. From the moment you walk in you feel so welcome and comfortable. We got to watch deer in the small field by the house at night and soaked in all the peaceful relaxing vibes this cabin has to offer.

We loved our time at June bug cabin! we were celebrating 22 years of marriage. This cabin was one of the best we have stayed at as it was peaceful and decorated with so much attention to detail. A funny thing did happen, in an attemp to disconnect we went outside to enjoy coffee and the rocking chairs and locked ourselves out with no phones, no keys , and no shoes. lol. A very kind neighbor named Kevin let me interupt his mowing to let this sock footed stranger use his phone.

We enjoyed the slow pace and quiet off the beaten path of this cabin. The pictures do not prepare you for how cozy and peaceful it is. The kitchen has everything you need, and the Livingroom is super cozy!

This VRBO was super relaxing, private getaway and short distance from Nashville. Very rustic feel but still has modern comforts. Our hosts were very good at communication and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. My wife and I had a very nice time. I highly recommend this cabin and look forward to coming back.

The cabin was beyond beautiful. So special with the attention to detail. Both my boyfriend and I loved the history of the place and how quiet it was. Close proximity to attractions without the traffic and hubbub. Great communication with Joy. We’ve already started talking about when we’ll be able to visit again. A must stay!

The most Absolute Beautiful cabin we have ever stayed in. Super cute and rustic and the history was the cherry on the top!! The hosts are Absolutely Amazing with quick response and super friendly with lots of info about the town. A Must Stay if visiting the area. The area is really nice and we felt really safe!!

This Cabin was so amazing, the pictures do not do it justice! Absolutely Breathtaking! Well taken care of and maintained, cute and cozy, and the view is amazing! By far the best little country get away I've ever had! Property manager is very caring, and takes care of the customers very well, will definitely be staying here again at some point in the near future!

This is one of my first vacations that I have planned on my own and I am typically pretty skeptical of places the first time I stay in them but this place exceeded all my expectations. As soon as I walked in, all my initial fears about the cabin not being what I expected were gone. It was a perfect place to stay for 2, was very clean, and was overall beautiful. Figuring out which driveway to go up when we arrived was the only challenge we had the entire time :) It was close enough to downtown Nashville and other major locations around Nashville that made it super convenient! If I come back to this area I will definitely be staying again!

This property is absolutely AMAZING! My boyfriend and I stayed here for the weekend and it truly made our trip! The owner is so nice and made sure to check in on us! This cabin is absolutely stunning. Me and my husband came here for our anniversary, and couldn’t have happier with this cabin! It’s close enough to town, but far enough away to unplug and be in the moment. Will be rebooking in the future!

We had a very nice time during our stay. The cabin is extremely clean and very well decorated. We enjoyed knowing the history of the cabin. I wouldn’t normally take a bath but enjoyed the large bath tub. We also utilized the rockers on the front porch for coffee in the morning. We had one unfortunate circumstance- the sheets were too small for the bed and came off the mattress each night. It was unpleasant but is an easy fix for owner. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

This was a very quaint and very handy place to stay to be able to visit with relatives. The history of the property was impressive. You should include an actual history [such as a journal in the cabin] of how this was developed into it's present use from the previous Cash property til now.
