Kihei Rd #633, Kihei HI 96753 ***Professionally Cleaned Condo, No-Contact Check-In/Check Out*** If you are looking for a perfect getaway in paradise, Kauhale Makai 633 is it! The first thing you see when you arrive is a unobstructed view of the ocean from this TOP Floor condo. Just sit back and take in the endless Pacific Ocean, turtles, dolphins, whales, wind surfers, kite surfers and other ocean activities right from your lanai. Miles and miles of sandy beach for walking and beach combing directly in front of your condo. Enjoy amenities of this lovely condo such as Central AC, Kauhale Makai is one of the few resorts with high quality central air conditioning. Ceiling fans in both bedrooms and kitchen/dining area to help you stay cool. While staying with us you will be able to enjoy the fully stocked kitchen, combination range/oven, large microwave, full-sized refrigerator and dishwasher. Cabinets are stocked with a full range of dishes, pots, pans, coffee maker, blender, rice/steamer, and dinnerware. The bedrooms are located on either side of the condo allowing for a nice separation of space. There is a king size bed in master bedroom with its own sliding door to the lanai, you can lay in bed and watch the whales or windsurfers. Master bedroom has its own bathroom, makeup and shower area. The 2nd bedroom has queen size bed with its own bathroom as well. The living room sofa converts to a queen size bed. Kauhale Makai (Hawaiian for Village by the Sea) amenities include beautiful manicured garden-like grounds, adult and children’s pool, shuffle board, putting green, well-maintained outdoor BBQ grills, coin-operated laundry facilities, elevator. The central location offers convenient access to all Maui attractions, shopping, supermarkets and transportation. We provide beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, and beach umbrella and a cooler, so you are beach ready! We provide adequate starter amounts of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, etc. for all bookings. Kauhale Makai - Village By The Sea is proud to be a Smoke-Free condo/resort. Check in at the front office and for your parking and registration. **The Pool will be Closed from April 22nd-May 6th 2024 and the dates have been discounted to reflect that.** Cancellation Policies AND Options: Travel Insurance – Please look into this as your first line of defense, as it limits losses for both parties. All of the major booking sites offer trip insurance that you can purchase at time of booking. Also, many credit cards do offer some sort of travel reimbursement as terms of their program, please check with your credit card company as well, should you chose not to protect your trip with the site you are booking this reservation on. Very clean, right on the ocean, beautiful views. We ate 90% of our meals at the condo and everything for the kitchen was provided. We did have 6 people and only 4 beach towels. 4 bath towels. I know they didn’t have to supply any towels however, after a long two days of travels it was inconvenient for us to look for a store to purchase more towels. They did have coin operated laundry service available on every floor. There are gas grills provided conveniently located. These condos are very centrally located , 15 mins from airport, roughly 15 min drive from shopping district , walking distance to restaurants and convenience stores. We will definitely stay with them again . I highly recommend. I would give them four point 8 stars

Amazing condo and view. We really enjoyed the property, including the kiddie pool, pool and hot tub, with our two year old. Clean condo, comfortable beds, decently sized common space, well stocked kitchen. One of the bedrooms does have a window with a light right outside of it that is on all night and blinds that don't completely cover the window so the bedroom was a little bright at night.

Everything is perfect about this place. First, the view: sunset, ocean views all day long. Second, the location: so close to soooo many beaches and the town. Ten minutes away from anything. Third, the apartment: kitchen, two baths, comfy furniture, accessible laundry, pool, bbqs, beach gear, family friendly, easy parking, etc.

We spent a week in this condo and had a great time. It’s well appointed and everything was in working order. The view was beautiful, the pool was nice. The beds have some foam mattress toppers that are very soft, if you love a soft bed you’ll sink into you’ll love it. The sheets do pop off every night though, they just can’t stay put with how deep the mattress plus pad are.

Everything was clean and in good working order. Nice view of the ocean and a big greenspace park. Bed mattress was in good shape. Elevator to this six floor unit worked (thank god!). Typical older vintage building but unit was in good shape. There were zero bars of soap or small amount of shampoo on hand to use until we could get to store.

Best thing about this place is the 6th story view. The mountain is to the left and the ocean to the right. This is also a wonderful locals beach, great for walking of fishing. The green area is great to see and walk. Condo is sweet. Simple, fully furnished. Great View.

Best trip of my life thank you. This condo is clean beautiful and has a great view of the sunset every night from the balcony. Great location, plenty of free parking and easy to get to from airport. Pool is small but beach is nice to walk and there is so much to do, see, eat, just a short drive away.

A nostalgic sense of longing as soft sun filter through the palms, casting shadows across the lawn. Jewels upon the ocean beauty dance as the waves caress the shore. Kauhale Makai, a village by the sea.
This beautifully appointed 2 bed/2 bath unit is clean, comfortable, spacious, and well maintained. A fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher and built-in microwave. We started our day with coffee from the Cuisinart coffee maker and onolicious meals on our private lanai, overlooking the beautiful ocean and grounds.
Kauhale makai fronts a Hawaii conservation shoreline. Amenities includes a swimming and wading pool, jacuzzi, bbq grills, and free parking.
Prior to our arrival we were provided with pertinent access information. The VIP management team was easy to work with.
We love unit 633 and look forward to staying there again. E hele mai! Come see for yourself.

Place was awesome and met all of our expectations. The bed in the master bedroom was INCREDIBLE! Missing it back home right now, slept like a baby. The view is gorgeous and all amenities are nice. Kids loved the pool and hot tub and everyone was super friendly. Use of beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, and boogie board was a plus, we used all of them. Great, convenient location, minutes from phenomenal restaurants and shopping. The beach is rocky, definitely have water shoes. We visited nearby beaches since we didn’t have those, but again the location makes all of that super easy. Would absolutely stay here again!

We arrived during a power outage in the area (not just the condos) and the manager helped us carry our luggage up 6 flights. Luckily he was half our age! Condo has a lovely patio with full ocean view. We liked the floor plan with the bed/bath ensuite being separated by the kitchen & living. A/C worked great. Overall our experience with our rental was great. The building is conveniently close to a lot of restaurants and markets. Its a well maintained, clean, quiet and a well managed property. The beach is a short walk from the building, which is great if you don't want to drive to another beach or just take a walk. The swimming pool was very nice with a kiddie pool, which was a pleasant surprise. The hot tub was good but the jets were a bit weak. The unit was comfortable and clean, with all the extras you could need (beach umbrellas, chairs, coolers). From the balcony you had a great view of the ocean and prime location for a daily sunset. The rental was extremely well sound insulated. You couldn't hear much of anything that was going on outside. You could hear the occasional emergency vehicle driving by or an airplane in the distance, but you had to stop and really try to listen for it. They don't have laundry/dryers in the unit but they have laundry machines that are Bluetooth/Phone App connected so you don't have to carry coins or make change.

Loved being on the top floor of this complex. The view was amazing and a fantastic way to wake up each day. The beds are comfy and they have foam toppers which I personally like. Not far to walk to the beach and the grounds are so pretty you don't mind the short walk. The pool/hot tub area was clean and well maintained and seemed to be enjoyed by both guests and residents. It was never too busy which was nice. The management took my suggestions for a few ways to improve and that is certainly appreciated. The kitchen is pretty stocked with just about everything you need. I didn't use everything available so can't speak to that...like the coffee maker and the dishwasher. I love Kihei and this place is pretty central to all the beaches and places to go. Sugar Beach Bakery is a must and only like 3 miles away. I'd bring water shoes if going in the water at the beach here as it's quite rocky. Laundry area is convenient and easy. Oh and it's pretty quiet for the most part....except the fans in the bathroom are on and can't be turned off so if you're sensitive to that kind of noise be aware. We would definitely stay here again. :)

The property was really quiet and clean. Loved being on the top floor and able to see the ocean from the balcony. The kitchen was clean and had plenty of cooking utensils and plates. Our only issue, iPhone would not connect to the Bluetooth for the washers, but the android phones did. great location if you want to do the Road to Hana, Lava Fields and any other place on the island.

There were four of us, this condo was perfect. Having the bathrooms in each bedroom was really nice. The ocean view was amazing. It was clean and the location was perfect. Living room Furniture was very dated. Couch squeaked, bar stools are wobbly , but we spent most of the time on the lanai. There was a phone number in their paperwork binder that said text us. Could not get that number to work but emailing them was just as effective and they responded very quickly. Had a great vacation and would definitely recommend this place as your home away from home
