You can unwind in the lower-level family room to watch TV while the kids play a game of pool. The gas fireplace will keep you warm on crisp mountain nights. Lakefront living doesn't get much better than this! You have two levels of decks that overlook the water. They are perfect for relaxing in the sunshine or dining with lake views. The sloping lawn leads to your private dock where you can swim or fish until your heart is content. Bring a boat, or rent one locally, and head out for a cruise. Everyone will love seeing the sights, tubing, and stopping at lakefront restaurants to grab a bite to eat. When you come back, get together around the fire pit to toast marshmallows at sunset. Throughout the year, the bubbling hot tub will soothe tired muscles and leave you totally relaxed. Wisp Resort is within half a mile, so their year-round recreation is within easy reach. The main picture of the property on the VRBO listing is not this property, it is the neighbors. The outside of this property is in much need of TLC. A lot of deferred maintenance is needed. The Deck and stairs needs power washed, real bad, and some new paint. It is very dirty, currently. The outside areas are over grown and needs some landscaping. There is no TV is the main room, off of the kitchen, where most people congregate. Very interesting. I tried messaging with the owner through VRBO twice prior to arriving as I had questions about the downstairs bedroom, that went unanswered. The good things are, this is a perfect location, along with your own dock. The inside of the property was in good conditions with only some minor deferred maint issues. I'd give them a 4.5 for the inside, 5.0 for location, and a 3 for the outside. We had a great time as a family, but we stay at places like this often, all over the country, and the outside deferred maint really surprised me. Hopefully this helps and they don't get offended.
