About this condo rental
Situated in Galveston Island, this charming condo for $368 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Hosted by Pointe West Vacation GVR09203 ***Your pet is welcomed in this unit. Pet limit is 1 dog under 25lbs with a $125 non-refundable deposit. Saltwater Breeze (formerly known as 6 Flip Flops) offers 1400 sq. feet of living space, with easy access to the beach and the Beach Club. This spacious top floor beach front condo is the perfect place to take the family and relax for a beach getaway. Enjoy wonderful ocean views as well as beautiful sunrises from your private shaded balcony. This condo offers a master bedroom has king bed, 2nd bedroom has a queen and 3rd bedroom features two sets of twins over full bunkbeds - Sleeps 9 comfortably. 3 High-Def LED TV's, WIFI, all rooms tastefully decorated, fully equipped kitchen including built in oven air fryer, everything you need for a great vacation! Ring doorbell is at front porch for security purposes as well as Private Grill on balcony. A storage locker is provided with this unit. Pointe West is a privately owned resort community on the western tip of Galveston Island. You will have exclusive access to our private beach that is clean and groomed regularly offering you a perfect spot to relax and unwind, away from the crowds. You are approximately 30 minutes from downtown Galveston and other great Galveston attractions. RESORT FEE: The Pointe West Beach Club, open year-round, is a privately owned/separate entity, offering resort style amenities for guest enjoyment. Per Beach Club regulations, a maximum of 3 guests per bedroom is allowed for amenity wristband purchases. The fee is $25 per person (ages 4 and up), per stay (not per day) should you wish to enjoy these amenities. The fee includes use of the Beach Club pool, the seasonally heated Bayside/lazy river pool, hot tubs, workout facility, basketball & pickle ball court. Resort sponsored activities are offered during the year for family fun. Sippin on Sunshine Restaurant and Bar is located at the Beach Club and is open seasonally. The Beach Club will directly email you an invoice for payment, should your party wish to purchase and enjoy the resort amenities. Once paid, you will pick up your amenity wristbands at the Beach Club Office, open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. *Please note their fees are non-refundable. We suggest you purchase closer to your arrival date. For questions about the fee or amenities, please contact the Beach Club at **It is important to note that we manage the rental of your vacation home. We are not in charge of the community grounds, offered amenities, the pools, beach, elevators or restaurant. IMPORTANT TO KNOW: *Check in time is 4:00 pm and check out is 10:00 a.m. *You are welcome before check-in & after check-out to enjoy the beach and resort amenities if you have purchased Beach Club wristbands. *Rental is equipped with Ring doorbell. *Please note that all condos are accessible by stairs or elevators. In the event that elevators are placed out of service, stairs will be required. There are no refunds or alternatives for access to your vacation rental. *Age Requirement is 26+ *No Prom, Graduation or High School groups are permitted even with chaperones, please! CANCELLATION POLICY: *31 or More Days Prior To Your Date of Arrival: A full refund will be issued less a $100.00 administrative fee and the Travel Insurance premium, if purchased. *Cancellations 30 Days or less: No refunds or transfer of dates. TRAVEL INSURANCE: Is OFFERED for purchase when you secure your vacation reservation. Travel Insurance is coverage that can help protect you from losses from unexpected events that may occur. The hurricane season starts June 1 and ends November 30. Please review our cancellation as well as Storm and Cancellation Policies carefully! These are located in the rental agreement. We planned a Sun-Wed stay but had plenty of beach and pool time. We just wanted some relaxing beach and family time. With young adult children its hard to find places that fit us all, but we all had plenty of space to sleep, hangout and relax. The whole family said they would stay here again! We loved having the pools as a choice along with the beach!

Our condo was very nice and cutely decorated.
What we appreciated the most was the cleanliness, the comfortable beds, the beautiful view, and the huge balcony. We traveled with a 2 year old and the condo did not have a bunch of items we had to worry about him getting at reach level. Also had some games and things he liked to play with. There is an elevator in the building and it was so nice to have. Plus an assigned and covered parking space.
Areas of improvement could include a deep clean of the fridge’s ice maker. The door that exits ice has build up that was coming out on ice for us, so we just got it out of the freezer. Would have also appreciated a key for the bedroom doors. As I mentioned, we traveled with a 2 year old who is into locking and unlocked doors right now, definitely had a fear of him locking a door and having to coax him out. On the subject of locking doors, would be nice to have an extra lock on front and back doors that cannot be reached by younger kids. The living room furniture is very beachy, but not very comfortable, not to the point of deterring us from coming again.
Overall, our group had a really nice time, enjoyed the view, the short walk to the beach, and the entire place.

This place was amazing and the pictures were spot on! Super quiet during our stay which I feel everyone in my party needed. We didn’t need for anything in the kitchen as it was well stocked. The only negative which had nothing to do with the property is the mosquitoes …there were so many that they could carry you away! Lol. But we had our Thermocell which kept them at bay on the balcony so we could enjoy those sunsets everyday!! Definitely would recommend this place as we’ll be back!!

Was peaceful and offered plenty of things to do to relax and pass time; from sitting on the porch drinking coffee, watching the sun rise, relaxing on the beach or poolside… can’t recommend it enough.

We came to Galveston for a long weekend and met our Texas family there. It was spacious enough for all of us and absolutely beautiful. The private beach was amazing. The view was breathtaking and so relaxing. We will definitely be back!

AMAZING
The photos do not do this place justice! The home is beautifully decorated and has a spectacular views of the ocean. The bay view from the Master Suite is so nice! The house is so spacious and had everything you need for entertainment (cookware and spices, games and books, tv, beach toys). The beach club on site was a hit for our kids! We enjoyed the pool and the restaurant was great. To top it all off, it was a very short and beautiful walk to the beach. It was not overcrowded and was very clean. The neighbors were so friendly and quiet. We will absolutely be back! Thank you, Pointe West, for a great family vacation.

My family and I spent 4 nights at this condo during spring break. We had an issue with the door code to access the condo, and when I texted the number they immediately responded and gave me a new code to gain entry. That was hugely appreciated as we had a carful of pool and beach things…plus two excited kids who wanted to change and swim.
Overall, the property was exactly as listed and we were very pleased with everything. Since Pointe West is fairly remote, we bring groceries to cook. And this kitchen was actually fully stocked with pots and pans (with matching lids!), cookie sheets, pizza pan, knives, utensils…everything needed to cook.
This particular building is close to a boardwalk with access to the beach. The beach was nice and quiet while we were there. The pool and hot tub at the beach club was kinda far for our kids, so we drove over once. We primarily drove over to the bayside heated pool and hot tub. Has we been there longer and intended to spend all our time on property, I would have rented a golf cart. However, we spent a lot of our day driving to Galveston proper for putt putt, a boat tour, pleasure pier, etc.
Overall, I recommend this condo to anyone interested in spending some time at Pointe West and I would definitely stay here again.
