About this cabin rental
Secluded cabin in the woods located in Nebo, NC in close proximity to Lake James, known to be one of the most scenic and cleanest lakes in the Southeast. We have an awesome outdoor area to enjoy with fire pit to relax around. Property directly links to the OverMountain Victory Trail via stone staircase with access to hundreds of miles of beautiful hiking. We are best suited to sleep 4 but 6 is ok if you don't mind a sleeper sofa (its new). We are located 4 miles from the Linville Gorge, 2.2 miles from Lake James State Park, 1.2 miles from Fonta Flora Brewery at Whippoorwill, and 7 miles from Mica Town Brewery Nebo. Marion Lake Club is within about 5 miles if you love golf, they also have a very tasty bistro called Slices. Mountain bike, hike, swim, kayak or canoe at Lake James State Park. Rent a boat to enjoy Lake James. Unfortunately, our property does not have adequate space for you to bring your own boat.

The property was better than it shows online! It’s quaint, private, and homey. The outdoor area which is always top priority for me was beautiful and peaceful. We loved being able to walk right up the stone steps and wander trails for miles. We ended up at the brewery and then kept going and found an awesome little mountain stream. The area is close to Lake James and all the mountain activities you are probably looking for. Don’t hesitate to book!

The place was clean and had what we needed for a couple days. During our stay it got very cold at night and there were not any heat vents in back bedroom.

We loved our second stay here at thebTrails End cabin. I love the property grounds so much. Lots of room for our dogs to wander and sniff around! The proximity to lake James state park and the fonta flora brewery cannot be beat!
