Look no further to find your quite escape from the hustle and bustle and just minutes from the all action. If you’re a golfer, you’re going to love it in Cobbly Nob. At the foot of Cobbly Nob Resort is Bent Creek Golf Course, designed by three-time Masters and British Open Championship Winner, Gary Player. It is a par 72 course that opened in 1972. The front nine hugs the valley floor while the back nine offers a challenging mountain course. A beautiful sparkling mountain stream meanders throughout the entire course making for a breathtaking contrast between water and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This is the second time we have rented this home and we have have not been disappointed. It is very clean. Both bedrooms are king size beds and have on suite bathrooms. My favorite bathroom is the downstairs since the shower has dual heads. The hot tub feels great after a long day of shopping, just kick back and let your muscles relax while bear watching. We were able to spot the mama bear with her 3 cubs while in the hot tub, she slid down the hill near the cabin. We also had a family of crows that woke us each morning and sat in the driveway along with a few squirrels and a chipmunk that played across the road. There is a large woodchuck that lives behind the cabin that you might catch sight of when you pull into the drive...lots of wildlife running around if you watch. Rebecca is an amazing host, she helped us out a few times with minor issues and she was very prompt with her replies. Love this cabin, can't wait until our next Tennessee adventure.

This was a 7-day family trip, our first time to the Smokies and we could not have picked a more perfect cabin for our trip! The cabin was as advertised, very clean, set up with what we needed to start, the hot tub was clean and hot and the cabin was large and spacious. The host answered all our questions very quickly and when we had a minor issue, sent someone within hours to take care of the issue for us, unbelievable!We had 4 bear encounters during our stay, we talked to people who have not seen any in the 3-years they have been going there and we saw them every other day, very cool and the cabin is set up to keep you safe.There is a large pool only a 2-minute walk up the road, we did not go other than to look, but always had people enjoying them selves.Loved the windy drive up, had to stop to allow a bear to cross, what more could you ask for. Seen and heard lots of wildlife and if you are a golfer, you drive right through the golf course on your way in, so very convenient for sure.If you are thinking about this cabin, just book it, we are hoping to be able to come back next year, it was that nice.
