We had a wonderful stay at Casa Sea Esta. The location is great, close to the beach and restaurants in Oak Island. The house was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to feel like home. We will be back at Casa Sea Esta! Thank you David and Darla!

This is one of the best houses I’ve rented in Oak Island. The host was amazing….very communicative and quick to respond to my questions. House was very clean and comfortable. The dock was great for fishing and crabbing. It’s a short drive (under 15 min) to the beach and close to everything. We would definitely rent this house again. Thank you Darla for your hospitality!

This was by far the best beach rental we’ve stayed in. We chose it because of the dock and access to the canal. We like to take a break from the beach but the fact that we could still be on the water while doing it was perfect for us. We brought our paddle boards and had an absolutely beautiful afternoon on the canal. The house is stunning, the large dining room table was perfect for our family to enjoy food and games. We relaxed with our coffee every morning on the porch overlooking the canal—just beautiful! There was plenty of space for everyone, much bigger than it appears in photos. They don’t do it justice! We will absolutely be back!

The property was extremely well kept and clean. We had access to bicycles for a family ride. My husband and daughter especially loved the dock on Davis Canal to fish on. My daughter caught 14 fish. We also caught some blue crabs and a few American Eels. We also loved the tankless hot water heater, so none of us ran out of hot water after our days at the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

We had 2 families of 4 staying for a long weekend. We had room for all and really enjoyed the home. It is extremely comfortable and clean and located in a very peaceful spot on the canal. I would stay again.

Pricey for location. Should have been at least on second row for the price. Needed more activities for kids to play with. Did not like at all that the repair men came into the house without notifying us. We would bot have known anything was missing until it was gone. They should have taken care of this issue while the housekeeping was being performed. Need to take the bolt lock off the North door and use only the keyless entry.

We stayed here with our family of five (three young kids). LOVED this place. Darla & David were wonderful - texting us about adverse weather conditions on the beach to ensure our safety. The house is beautiful, clean, & spacious. The location was perfect, beautiful backyard along the canal, a very short drive to beaches & grocery stores. We will not only be booking here again on our next NC trip, but we've recommended the place to our family. Neighborhood was quiet, which was great for our small napping family members. Can't say enough great things about our stay.

The property was new and clean. Only regret was that there was misunderstanding about the back deck which was not finished until we checked in. We planned a lot of activities considering the deck in mind. We had to put the Kayak on top of the van multiple times whenever we need to go to the public access. Also crabbing was not what we thought it would be. We brought crab trap which we couldn't use because of that too. It was big disappointment for all of us. I understand that the construction can get delayed but if the owner had let us know ahead of time (not right before the trip) then we would planned differently. it was my fault that I misunderstood their last minute message and brought all of those equipments but it would have been avoidable if they sent that information earlier(if then I would have time to share that with my friend and family whose English is their native language). It was bit pricey considering that we didn't have private access to the Davis canal and the beach access was too far to walk with small children. Overall it was great stay.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful time at this beautiful new house on the Davis canal. The location is great as it sits right on the canal while only a few minutes from the beach. We enjoyed fishing by the canal where it is also possible to kayak and paddleboard. The inside of the house is decorated absolutely beautifully and comfortably! One of my favorite things was sitting on the back porch at night wrapped up in a cozy blanket - incredibly peaceful with the sounds of the ocean in the distance. The owners, David and Darla, are amazing! They made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect trip from start to finish. They are the warmest and kindest souls! Thank you both for your amazing hospitality. We will definitely return to this beautiful and cozy spot on Oak Island.
