Very cute cottage and was clean, except that the carpet is a little stained. Sheets were left in dryer from housekeeping/previous guest. Only had 1 extra pillow and no extra pillowcases. But overall a very good stay!

Just stayed for a week at Woodland Cottage for a family get together. A perfect, small private cottage, comfortable and clean. Option for use of Trillium amenities access. Enjoyed the location and comfort of this great cottage. Would recommend for sure.

This little house is nestled in the Trillium community. It was perfect for our family and the kids loved our stay. The pool, club house and workout facilities were all a nice work to staying here! We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay at the Woodland Cottage. Would have been better if they weren’t in the middle of painting the outside. We were not able to enjoy the outside patio since all the furniture had been moved away from the covered porch. Rooms were comfy and plenty of space for four adults. Kitchen was nice with good quality dishes and utensils. A toaster would have been nice though. Note that parking is tight for two cars.

This house was perfect for our short stay in the area for a wedding. Our only complaint is we wished we could have spent more time there.

We spent 16 days in August in this cottage escaping the heat of our hometown. Despite intermittent rain showers (it's a bit of a rainforest), the weather was cool and just what we had hoped for. We worked remotely during the week. The desk in the loft and the kitchen table provided a comfortable and ample workspace for us. The cottage is overall well provisioned. Given our extended stay, this was a plus as we did cook some and grilled out once. We are also wine aficionados and the unit has really nice wine glasses (kudos!) Trillium has become our favorite area in the Cashiers area because it provides access to the Landings club down on Lake Glenville. The lake is quiet and pristine, complete with waterfalls and the ability to easily rent a boat or enjoy a meal with lake views. This is really the driving factor in what drew us to the area. The cottage allows club access for a fee and we enjoyed the amenities it provided. We did receive a little miscommunication from the host regarding the club access, however, and it resulted in a 3-day delay in gaining access. We also think the host might provide a small instruction manual in the unit in addition to all the area brochures provided. We had to ask around to figure out trash and recycling protocols. Nonetheless, these were minor issues in the grand scheme of the experience. We enjoyed bringing our dogs with us and found the cottage to be very dog friendly. It is located in a part of the community that is not too hilly (in what is a very hilly community) so it's easy to stroll the dogs around the block. It's worth mentioning for those bringing a dog that the unit has a shared porch, so we brought a folding gate to keep our dogs from bothering the neighbors. The owners were next door during our stay and were very friendly and of no bother whatsoever. Both porches do have gates on them which safely secures your pets on the shared porch but it does not stop them from making friends with the neighbors. There is a really nice hiking path with a small waterfall just steps from the cottage. It eventually takes you down tot he lake. the hike back is mainly uphill, but it's worth it. There are also incredible waterfall hikes all around the area. We enjoyed rainbow / turtleback falls hike and also going to the damn release at the waterfall on the north side of Lake Glenville (it only takes place a few times each summer and is a sight!). Thank you for a wonderful stay. We look forward to returning soon.
