Welcome to Alton Shores! This A-frame style cabin offers all the vacation feels with proximity to everything. Minutes walk to one of 5 private association beaches on Hills Pond and Sunset Lake. Drive 10 minutes to Alton Bay and Lake Winnepesaukee where you can enjoy a meal on the water, a game of mini golf, or get out on the water. Coming in the winter? Gunstock is about 20 minutes away. The knotty pine walls and working stone fireplace make this house the perfect place to gather and relax in summer or winter. The house offers an open floor-plan, a main floor bedroom, and a loft space that is effectively two separate bedrooms. Please note that there is no door to the loft space, and the second bedroom offers a curtain for privacy. Enjoy the garage full of lake toys, or sit and relax around the outdoor fire-pit or cozy fireplace. The house comes complete with linens, a fully stocked kitchen, wifi, pack n play, highchair, and many additional amenities to make your stay more comfortable. Please note: Guests are required to follow all association beach rules. These rules are in affect from Memorial Day to Columbus and prohibit dogs, fishing, fires, and grilling on the beaches.

We stayed for the weekend, and we most definitely recommend it! Hanna was more than accommodating, professional and helpful. The house is beautiful, well decorated and well maintained. It snowed about a foot over night and the house was cleaned before we woke up in the morning!!! If you are seeking a peaceful, and safe please consider her place. We are thankful for Hanna!

A great stay for a ski getaway. The home was convenient and perfect for the stay for the three of us. It was extremely cold outside during our stay and the home maintained a comfortable temperature.

This cabin was so well-made and beautifully decorated you instantly felt at home. The property was private and quiet but the hosts were readily available one chat away. We already are looking to come back!

We had a lovely stay in Alton Bay. The A Frame cottage was just as pictured. Perfect for cozy nights in playing board games by the fire. Lots of amenities nearby and we enjoyed visiting some of the towns. The host was responsive and very easy to work with. We’d definitely stay here again.

Great little place tucked away in Alton. The accommodations were as described, and as pictured. This little cabin is a very special place. Comfy, and cozy, even our teens came out of their spaces (beds) to come hang out at the table with us! Wi-Fi worked well, we didn’t get a chance to use the fireplace or the fire pit, or utilize the fun things in the garage. Host communication was excellent.

We love this area of the NH lakes and this is the ideal spot for a cozy stay. We were here in the wintertime but we're aiming to swing by in the summer at some point!

Beautiful cozy cabin in great location. This was our 2nd stay and looking forward to next year. Hanna is very responsive and wonderful to work with. Truly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!!!

Great area if you love outdoors like we do. The home was very clean and decorated nicely with the great outdoors feeling. Easy door access, beds were comfy, plenty of kitchen items (silverware/plates/drinking glass and mugs, etc). Plenty of towels and washclothes for use. We've stayed in many places that lacked items that you use on a daily basis, so appreciated the extra amenities. Biggest selling point was the outdoor fire pit with plenty of chairs. Will book again

Myself, my wife, our infant, and my brother and sister-in-law stayed at this cabin for the weekend to come and see the fall foliage. It's in a great location close to Alton Bay, but far enough out into the woods that you get lots of nature views. Visitor amenities in the cabin were great! Would rent again.

Wonderful cozy home on a mountain in the woods! We loved this place from the moment we walked in the back door. The kitchen is small but is adequately appointed to prepare a simple meal. Sofa is reclining and very comfortable, as is the recliner next to it. The fireplace is one of the best we’ve had in a rental, great draft with a very large firebox and working glass doors, so no concerns with smoke or sparks escaping. We never turned on the tv so can’t comment on that. Queen bed in the downstairs bedroom was very comfortable. The bathroom is more spacious than the pictures imply. Overall loved our stay here and can’t wait to come back! Very responsive host, thank you Hanna!!

This place is awesome. Exceptional clean great location everything we needed was in the house. Check in and out very easy. Hanna got right back to us with any questions we had. She also did us a great favor! Thanks again Hanna we will definitely be back!

We are a family of 5, we enjoyed our week at the cabin and had everything we needed. It was great to be able to use the kayaks and paddle board. The lake and pond nearby are a short walk and a beautiful place to swim and paddle.

We had a great time its a 2 minute walk to the pond which is clear and great for kayaking and swimming. The house was perfect foe our family of 4 the kids loved the little tv / lounge area upstairs where they slept. The owner was GREAT! Superb service. We look forward to coming back soon

We stayed for 3 nights everything was great. Great neighborhood to walk our dogs. Hanna was awesome with communication. Couldn’t believe the stars we could see at night.

5 stars isn’t enough, we stayed 9 nights visiting grandchildren, The A Frame is awesome, super clean, everything there in the kitchen you would ever need. We ate in every night. Bed super comfortable, shower perfect lots of hot water. Living room was a perfect place to chill out. Hosts are super responsive especially when it snowed unexpectedly. We look forward to staying when we could actually see the water on the lake, still alot of snow first week of April. This place is a keeper on our list. Thanks for such a wonderful stay

This was our second visit to the Alton Bay area and it didn't disappoint! We had a fresh foot of snow over our long weekend and the cabin was perfect for cozy fires while the kids played outside. I enjoyed walking our dog in the neighborhood and it was very mellow & peaceful just as I had hoped. The cabin was clean and very cozy - new couch was a hit with all of us! The kitchen was small but we cooked everything we wanted with no issue.
Hanna was a great host and A+ for their team that cleared the driveway and walks of all the snow.

My husband and I spent the weekend at this cute cabin with our dog Broadie. It was cute and cozy. Location was good. Very private. Fireplace was great.
Hannah was great. Very responsive.
Unfortunately we did find a dirty sock in one of the comforters and another behind the bed. We told Hanna about it and she refunded us the cleaning fee which was very much appreciated.
My husband did clean out about 10 lbs of ash from the fireplace. We told Hannah about it. It should really be cleaned more often as it poses a safety issue. He also cleaned the fireplace glass because it was covered in black and we couldn’t even see the fire. Firewood is not supplied.
Nice weekend getaway. It could use some upgrades…the curtain in the kitchen doesn’t fully cover the sliding glass door which is a simple fix, the oven and the refrigerator are super outdated and the rugs could definitely be updated too.
If your looking for a place to relax and escape the cabin is perfect for just that.

My girlfriend and I celebrated Valentine's Day over the weekend prior to it. We absolutely loved the cabin. It was clean and cozy, had everything we needed, and communication with Hannah made check in flawless. Highly recommended!

We had a great weekend getaway. The house was great and was as described. It snowed and the owner made sure that someone came to plow the driveway and shovel the snow from the stairs and doorway.

Restarting a family tradition 30 years after my childhood family ski trips to Gunstock mtn, with our kids was a dream come true. The area has so much to offer year round, between the emense and beautiful lakes, and the winter mountains. The cabin is nestled in a quaint lakeside community with plenty of privacy and easy access. We immediately felt right at home and had everything we needed. Our 3 boys loved the upstairs bedrooms, they claimed it as their fort. Our nights were spent sitting around the fireplace, playing board games, having mom's birthday dinner, and make your own pizza night. The house was the perfect place for us to come together in a way that was a true departure from our everyday life. We can't wait to come back next year!

We decided to take a break from it all, not too far from home but far enough to enjoy each other as family. This house was perfect! Enjoyed amazing fire in the fireplace whole day and night. Cooked yummy food whole day. Brought some kitchen stuff (mixer for mashed potatoes.. etc) but otherwise we kept our meal simple and we found everything we needed. Upstairs bedrooms were cozy for the kids. The house is not very sound proof :) And shower is pretty tight but we really had amazing time! There are some updates to the furniture that are not on the pics. Kids totally enjoyed lazy boy sofa and want one at home! We have never stayed in this area in summer but would love to!

Very much as described. Clean. Dog friendly!! Perhaps just update the Wi-Fi log in so there’s no confusion because there’s almost NO cell service there. Otherwise great place.

Hanna was extremely attentive to our needs. We resolved a few issues via her very quick communicating. We appreciated that very much. The home is cute, however, the bathroom, fridge, and stove/oven could do with some updating.

Hannah is a very welcoming and responsive host. The house has all you need for a week's vacation. Access to the kayaks and paddleboards is a wonderful bonus. A quick walk to Hills Pond and very quiet access beach. Clean lake. Sandy bottom. A lot of different things to do in the Lake Winnipesaukee area.
