The calm shallow waters behind this unique villa offer a wide palette of blue and turquoise colors as well as warm orange sunsets. The most unique feature of Abita Kai is that the villa, pool area, and beach are all wheelchair-accessible. The elevator, pool lift, and a beach wheelchair are available upon request. It is the only larger luxury villa in the Rum Point area that offers this level of accessibility, while also being friendly for those who don't need the accessibility items. The estate includes a 3 bedroom-4 bathroom villa and a detached 2 bedroom-2 bathroom guest cottage above the garage. With a galley kitchen and living/TV area, the detached cottage is a great option for teenagers, grandparents, pilots, or staff to live on-premises but maintain privacy by having two roofs within the same oceanfront estate, all within walking distance of restaurants and watersports. The oceanfront two-story screened atrium spans the entire width of the main house, allowing guests to savor tropical Caribbean views from all 3 oceanfront bedroom suites, including the living room and kitchen. This home ticks all the boxes for a large, active family looking for the privacy of a luxury villa on a calm, swimmable barefoot beach but within walking distance of The Kaibo Marina & Restaurants. The Kaibo offers water sports, a fine-dining restaurant, a downstairs bar, an island-casual restaurant with take-out service, a coffee shop, and a marina with fishing, snorkel, and scuba charters. A passenger ferry service, operated by Cayman Ferries, departs to Camana Bay & Seven Mile Beach from the Kaibo Marina. ***Abita Kai's Notable Features*** -- Oceanfront infinity pool & sundeck. -- Private dock for boat/jet ski rental or private snorkel/scuba charter pick-up. -- 2 single kayaks* and 1 paddleboard provided by the owner. -- Pool heat available in winter months for an additional daily charge. -- Outdoor shower to prevent sand from tracking indoors. -- A home security system for peace of mind during your stay (upon request). -- Barefoot beach stretching half a mile in either direction for long walks along the shore. -- Twice-filtered water available at each kitchen sink -- Propane Grill and Burner for cooking outdoors -- 70" HDTV with Apple TV, cable programming, and DVD player in the main house; flat-screen with Apple TV only in the cottage. Extremely handicap friendly all the amenities were above and beyond. Grand cayman villas and the owner were outstanding and very generous and helpful during a family emergency.

We brought our two grown children, their spouses, and 5 grands to Grand Cayman for our retirement celebration. The main house is very comfortable with large open spaces. Bedrooms comfortable. Cottage was used for all the grandkids (ages 7, 11, 15, 19, 20). Large bunk room for the boys and the king room for the girls. Washer and dryer in this area was a plus. TV used for their Nintendo Switch games- lots of fun. Internet was fast and a good signal everywhere in both the cottage and the main house. We have one family member who is in a wheelchair. The main house the elevator was amazing and worked perfectly. The large shower, shower chair and beach wheelchair also made this vacation enjoyable and easy for our disabled guest. The pool lift worked well and was quite an unexpected blessing. The WC accessible dock was great. The view is so beautiful!! All the kids swam daily. Lots of cool sea life- puffer fish, yellow snapper, starfish, and colorful blue fish. We walked over to Kaibos and ate some meals and had grocery delivery, Charter boat picked us up at our dock and took us to visit Stingrays and the Reef. Perfect!! We loved this place! Hope to return soon!!

This was the perfect villa for our family of 9 to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary, our daughter’s 40th birthday and grandson’s 18th birthday. We had a late arrival and were given clear information regarding access to the villa. We arranged to have groceries and snorkel gear delivered to the villa prior to our arrival which was very helpful. The villa was beautiful and the guest house was perfect for our daughter’s family with young children. They loved running back and forth to the main house. We spent the week swimming in the pool and ocean right out our back door. There were many starfish along our sandy beach and it was fun to watch a small, colorful fish swim in and out of a conch shell by the dock. Morning coffee and occasionally yoga on the dock was amazing. Our family loves to cook and the kitchen was well appointed. We had family dinners in the screened porch at the glass table every evening. We had an issue with the main refrigerator initially but Angella was very quick to respond and make sure the issue was resolved. It was great having an outdoor shower. We loved having the kayaks, paddle board and a good selection of life jackets available for our use. The location of the villa was perfect and a short walk to starfish point and Kaibo. We chartered a boat trip to stingray city and several snorkeling spots with Blue Haven charters. Blair and Braeden were amazing tour guides! A perfect ending to a perfect vacation at Abita Kai.

This property is simply perfect. We bought groceries for the week and never left the property! Gourmet kitchen, spacious home, and infinity pool overlooking the water. Swam during the day and relaxed in the screened in porch all night! Wonderful experience from beginning to end. I would highly recommend!
