This split level home is ideal for the perfect holiday with family or friends. BYO LINEN: Bedding is provided but guests must bring their own linen and towels. Enter to a spacious open decking area that divides the house. Open the sliding door to the main living, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric stove, oven, microwave and large fridge. The huge dining table seats 8 with space for more. The living area perfect to enjoy a relaxing holiday with two leather couches, a smart tv and wood fire & A/C. The master bedroom is located on the mezzanine above the kitchen/dining with an ensuite including an open shower. The other two bedrooms are accessed by going outside and entering the other part of the building, which includes bedroom 2 with 1 set of single bunk beds & 1 set of king single bunk beds. Bedroom 3 with a queen sized bed. This part of the house also includes a two way laundry (front loader washing machine) with a sperate toilet and shower. The large outdoor area contains a gas BBQ, and is ideal for hanging out and enjoying a summer with friends and family. HEATING/COOLING This property contains a Wood Fire and split system in the living area, ceiling fans in all bedrooms, and a split system in bedroom 2 & 3. Please note: the living area split system is only cool. Linen is NOT provided, guests must bring their own. STRICTLY NO SCHOOLIES or BUCKS/HENS NIGHTS.  PLEASE NOTE: There is a strict NO PARTY policy. The house is located in a residential area and noise and public disturbances will not be tolerated. Guests will be asked to leave the premises without notice should noise or nuisance complaints be received or if the number of guests exceeds the number confirmed at time of booking. Guest Access: You have use of the entire house and yard. Guest access information will be provided the day of your arrival via email. This will include details on how to locate the property, where to locate the key safe, and the key safe combination to access the keys. The Neighborhood: Situated approximately 2.5 hours from Melbourne and approx. 40 mins to Wilsons Promontory. The property is located close to the Ocean beach for swimming, surfing and fishing. At Sandy Point there is a Surf Lifesaving club which patrols the beach over summer; they also have a bar, occasional meals and events. Launch a boat from Shallow Inlet for or enjoy kite surfing & jet skiing (not supplied). The Sandy Point General store is the hub for groceries, bait, boat hire, petrol, gas, alcohol and an Australia Post outlet. Paradise Point Café is the only Café is town and has snacks, sit down & takeaway meals, a beer garden, live entertainment over summer. A small Mini golf course is located next to our office on Beach Parade. Playgrounds & public BBQ areas are located next to the Sandy Point Hall. Tennis courts are located behind the Sandy Point hall and equipment can be hired from the General Store. The Sandy Point Hall hosts art festivals, markets & other events over summer. If you are staying at Port Welshpool you are very close to the world famous Port Welshpool Long Jetty, and the departure jetty for cruises to Wilson's Prom, as well as Port Albert and other towns. If you are staying at Fish Creek or Waratah Bay, it's only a short trip to Meeniyan, driving on some of the most picturesque country roads in South Gippsland. If you are staying in Toora, you are only 20 minutes from Foster, and surrounded by the beautiful rolling hills of South Gippsland. Getting Around: Sandy Point is a small coastal town, so walking is the preferred method of getting around. Cars are required to get around if you wish to explore the country side and surrounding areas Other Things to Note: Due to the closure of the Gippsland Power Stations, during peak times (i.e. the middle of summer) we are prone to power blackouts. Mobile phone coverage can also be poor, travellers are advised to use Telstra for the best coverage in our area. This is unfortunately completely out of our control. Each property in Sandy Point is on tank water and septic systems.
