About this condo rental
Nestled in Sugar Mountain, this charming condo for $200 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. The owners have been hard at work making this spacious condo cozy and inviting, and Sugar Mountain Lodging Inc welcomes you! This condo has all new furniture throughout; with a wonderful rustic flavor that you will enjoy. Smart lock prevents you from having to stop at office. Add in the great views from the both floors and you have found the perfect getaway. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need including full size crockpot, 4 slice toaster, coffee pot, blender, and full size mixer in case you feel like whipping up a birthday cake! Next to the kitchen is a wet bar that has its own mini fridge. Great for beer, wine, and an extra pitcher of lemonade. Upstairs you will find a second mini fridge. You won't need to walk down the stairs to quench your thirst; just kick back and relax. The living room has a leather couch and reclining leather love seat. The love seat is an action recliner; just push the button on either side and you are reclining. The love seat also has USB port on each side; so you can charge your phones, etc.. while you are reading. The 55” smart tv and gas fireplace will keep you cozy and entertained. The dining room has a custom built harvest table that seats six, with 4 comfy chairs and a bench. The dining room leads onto the first deck that is equipped with a table with seating for four, as well as 2 pub chairs for easy viewing. The guest bedroom is on the first floor and has a queen size bed, 40” tv, full size closet and an adjacent full bath with shower/tub. This condo also includes a washer and dryer on the first floor across from the wine bar. On the second floor, enjoy the spacious master bedroom with a king size sleigh bed, full closet, personal vanity, and 40” smart TV. A beautiful master bath includes not one, but two double sink vanities, plus a bathtub with a sloping back to relax in. This bathroom also features a two person shower room. Both showers come with a rain shower head and a second shower head that can be hand held as well. The loft has a queen sleeper sofa with a 5 inch memory foam mattress for a comfortable night’s sleep. The loft also has a second balcony with spectacular views. The balcony is equipped with four pub chairs, so you can have a great view over the deck railing while enjoying a relaxing drink!. There are two portable air conditioners in the condo. One is on the first floor in the living room area and the second one upstairs. Known as a winter destination for skiers and snowboarders, nearby Sugar Mountain Resort also has wonderful year round activities including golf, tennis and miles of trails for hiking and mountain biking. Of course, the views are why the owners chose this condo. At 4500 elevation, enjoy the feeling of mountain top living with easy access from Sugar Mountain Dr. Access to skiing is easy with a shuttle that takes you from the entrance to the Crest to the ski lifts at the Sugar Mountain Resort during weekends and holidays. In the cool summertime, you’ll want to sit on the balcony and watch the hummingbirds play as they come close enough to check you out! Enjoy this year round getaway at The Crest! NO coffee is provided, but we are now stocking units with salt and pepper, and cooking oil.

Pros: It was very easy to rent, good communication with the property manager. The place is beautiful…newly updated. Great amenities and a stunning view. The location to Sugar Mountain, groceries, and restaurants is a plus.
Now the cons…the parking is not easy as the year round tenants in the complex have multiple cars…I thought I would have a dedicated parking spot but did not.
Also, this is a upper floor condo over another tenant/owner. The tenants below live and work there during the winter months …they made us aware that we being too noisy (playing a board game)…I would not advise this for families with kids as it put a damper on our stay.

Overall stay was a 5++++. Only thing I thought was tacky was an envelope for tips for cleaning staff. We usually leave money for that, but didn’t this time as we felt it was a little tacky.

The home was beautiful and was everything we hoped for- the communication with the management company , Sugar Mountain Management, was terrible. We were without water for 12 hours the last day. The management company stated there was work in the area without checking to find out the water had been cut off to the unit by mistake. If we hadn’t kept calling them we would not had water through the night

Our small family of 3 had a wonderful stay! This place looks even better in person. It was well appointed, tastefully decorated, super clean and the views are AMAZING! The keypad made it so easy, no stopping at an office for keys and the trash was conveniently located so no dragging garbage to an offsite location. I wouldn’t change a thing about this condo, it’s perfect and we will definitely be back soon!!

Gorgeous Views!! The condo was immaculate. So cozy & clean. The drive up the mountain was a little testy, especially at night, but well worth it. Our only complaint from our stay was the downstairs guest/owner in 200G. They were hanging blinds with a hammer and moving furniture until 11:30 at night. When I walked down to ask politely if they were finished, the woman told me to quit walking around upstairs because she could hear me... Mind you that we arrived at The Crest @ 7:00, left for 2 hours to get groceries & look around and returned after 9. We were in bed by 10:30. She also threw some vulgar language at me. It's is all recorded. With all this being said, I would highly recommend the Condo, but just not the one above Logan Sparks in 200G. Extremely Rude. But Mrs Johanna was very apologetic & helpful. She is a very lovely host.

The condo is beautiful; even better than in the photos! It is at the top of Sugar Mountain with stunning views of the mountains and valleys. The property remodel is very well done, great master bath, cozy gas fireplace and well appointed throughout. The property was clean, well stocked and very comfortable. Cody was responsive to any needs and we had a great time. Will definitely be back!

Our stay was amazing. We loved the location. It was quiet and so high up the mountain we had views that went on forever. The weather was perfect, nice and cool. The interior was comfortable and nicely decorated. Master bedroom and bathroom was incredible, very spacious.

We now consider this our "Mountain Summer home" as we have already stayed here a few times and plan to make it a yearly summer family vacation, mostly because of just how much we love this cabin! From the minute you walk in you will gasp from the views and they never really truly stop. This cabin has all you could dream of from spectacular views to amazing furnishings and amenities, wait until you see the master bathroom! And its fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. We could make our dinners with every imaginable kitchen appliance you could want and enjoy breathtaking sunsets from the dining room and the porch. There is surround sound and a smart tv and stereos you can connect to your phone and good wifi. Plenty of comfortable seating and card games and books. We would honestly never leave if that was an option! Already counting the days until next year!

Cannot beat this rental property for location, comfort, amenities, views, proximity, etc. Highly recommend. Will visit again for sure! Had to get used to the drive up the mountain to arrive here but not bad once you get used to it & see the views from the house. Could be nice to have a marked, designated parking space for the unit but wasn't an overall issue during our visit.

The unit was nicely put together and had great views. Con’s: the unit was very cold (about 50 degree’s) upon arrival and took quite awhile to warm up, gas fireplace was not working upon arrival and was not fixed until the next afternoon, TV remote was not working,(Cody was helpful with fixing both of these problems) not enough towels so would recommend bringing extras if you have more than 2 people staying, dryer lint and hair found when bed comforter was pulled back. All in all it’s a nice unit and I would recommend renting.

This condo is absolutely perfect for a small family, two couples or really any combination of up to 6 people. It isn't often that a place looks exactly like the pictures or better and in this case, the condo was even better than we expected. The decor and furnishings were impressive, the kitchen well equipped, the beds and linens were comfortable and the views were great. Cody was super quick in her communication! We will be back!
