My recent stay at a Sonder property in Nashville was nothing short of a disaster. The experience was marred by a series of frustrating and unacceptable incidents that have left me determined to warn others. Issue 1: Malfunctioning Deadbolt - A Chilling Welcome Upon arrival, we were greeted not by the warmth of a welcoming home, but by a stubborn, malfunctioning deadbolt. On three separate occasions, all post-9 PM in chilling 40-degree weather, the front door became an impenetrable barrier. Videos recorded as proof show the correct access code being entered into the keypad, yet the door remained unyielding. Picture this: you're dropped off by an Uber, desperate to use the bathroom, only to be stranded outside in the cold. This isn't just an inconvenience; it's unacceptable. Issue 2: The AI Chatbot - A Modern-Day Maze Seeking assistance, I was forced to communicate with a robotic AI chatbot. The absence of human interaction in times of distress is not just impersonal; it's infuriating. The chatbot system, far from being helpful, added layers of frustration to an already stressful situation. This dehumanizing experience left me feeling more like a ticket number than a valued guest. Issue 3: Post-Checkout Silence - The Lost Dress Saga The issues didn't end at checkout. It took an astounding 12 calendar days to receive a human response regarding a dress unquestionably left in a bedroom closet. The reply? A dismissive "the cleaning staff didn't find it." This lack of accountability

Would stay again in a heartbeat for the price we paid. But know beds are very hard. Could use a few more hand towels. And because I’m a cleaning lady I see things that need to be cleaned better. But the area is perfect. Loved it!

Great location, wonderful and safe facility. The only negative was lack of towels which was resolved quickly.

Ziel Haus was excellent. very spacious, location was excellent. Germantown is the perfecdt spot to stay, Close to broadway, lost of great places to eat, and felt very safe.

This was a great place for us to stay on our way to GA. Perfect location. Close to Monell’s, which is a must if in Nashville. Close proximity to Broadway and easy for Uber to find. Would stay here again for sure.

We came to Nashville for the UGA/Vandy game. This property was just right for us! Plenty of space and a great kitchen! Location is central to everything.

We loved our stay in this four-bedroom apartment. Easy check-in and check-out. Clean and large space. Proximity to downtown was great.

It was a great space amd had much more potential with better furniture and a few touch ups. You couldn't beat it for the price. We actually enjoyed the neighborhood with many close walking distance restaurants and coffe shops

I enjoyed staying here and the location is really nice and felt very safe. The place was clean and comfortable. My only issue is there was only one TV which did not work. They sent someone out the first day who was unable to fix it & told me every day they would be back with a solution but no one ever showed up. I didn’t have a TV my entire stay. They did give me 50.00 credit. It would have been 10/10 stay except for the unmet promise of having my TV fixed. I traveled alone and was looking forward to watching my shows. That was a bummer. It was a great place & I would stay again.

The neighborhood is great! There’s a ton of space in the unit. CS responded but the app is a pain to use. Unit- Back door sticks. After thinking we locked ourselves out we found out from CS that you have to push on the door while entering the code. There’s supposedly no smoking allowed on property but tons of cigarette butts all over the shared yard. Cooking- Doing plan on it. No kitchen equipment at all but oddly 2 dishwashers. Bedding & towels-No extra blankets or throws. 1 hand towel per bathroom, no washcloths, no laundry detergent, TV chrome was not working and had to call CS. Sleep- Master bed frame and door squeaks like crazy, pillows are flimsy, mattress is rock hard, walls are paper thin and was woken up at 3:30 to guys having a conversation outside. Got no sleep The shower design prevents you from keeping your hair dry and also sprays water everywhere. It’s a lovely unit but not being maintained well.

Great property. Great location. Only problem was the bed in the primary bedroom was soooo squeaky that it was impossible to get a good night’s sleep.

Property was in a nice neighborhood in Nashville. Great location outside business. Easy walk to farmers market and local pubs and coffee shops. Will definitely refer to friends.

This place is perfect for a group of up to 10 adults. There was plenty of space for all of us. There was 1 bedroom and bath on the main level and 3 bedrooms and 2 baths on the upper level. The only things lacking were some cleaning supplies so that we could do a little daily cleaning of kitchen and bathrooms plus not enough wash cloths in the bath rooms and kitchen linens so that we could wash dishes and kitchen counters as well as the dining table. There were plenty of towels and we loved that we had in room laundry facilities and 2 dishwashers! The kitchen appliances were in excellent condition, too. Our group absolutely loved staying here and would do it again! My only suggestion for safety would be to have benches in the showers for safety reasons so that the elderly, handicapped (or hungover 😉) people needing a way to balance themselves while showering could safely so so! We highly recommend this place!!!

We booked this property totally unaware that they were independently managed and we would be receiving communication from them. They evidently sent an email that we were unaware of since we only expected communication from VRBO. We did not complete the email information and our reservation was unknowingly canceled. I sent a message through VRBO the evening before our arrival for check in information and was notified the next morning that our reservation had been canceled and we did not have a room to stay in. Appears to be a wonderful place in a great location and would have liked to stay there.

We easily got to Broadway using Uber. Accommodations were spacious and in a great, quiet neighborhood. Space was better than pictured. Responsiveness from Sounders was exceptional. Highly recommend.

It was like staying at a motel, except not as nice, and crappy tv, curtain rods fell down when touched, coffee maker was broke, dishwasher was broken, master bed is broken, all mattresses were worn out. This was a crappy place

I wanted to move in. Really clean, easy to check into, love the app. Able to book Ubers directly from the app. Definitely will book this again when I come back to TN.

This property was located in a great location. Only a short 5 minute uber ride from Broadway and a nice neighborhood. Property was clean and just as advertised. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip!

Nice space, no complaints

Good price and super clean, beautiful condo. There were 6 of us and we all loved it. 1 queen bedroom downstairs and a master upstairs with 2 more queen bedrooms. Total of 3 full bathrooms. Beautiful 8 ft doors and 10ft ceilings. Only recommendations is add a blender and replace the broken coffee maker. Definitely would stay again. Thank you!!!

This townhome was very modern and quiet. It was a great escape from our busy weekend downtown. The amenities were very nice (laundry machines w/ detergent, dish washing pods, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc.) We didn’t give the full 5 stars because there were some stains on the sheets, only one TV, and very loud beds. Overall, we would stay at this place or any other Sonder property. The checkin process was easy, customer service was quick, and the app was easy to use. Did not like that we had to pay $20 extra to check in early when the place was already cleaned hours prior.

A really nice location to stay in Nashville. Walkable to restaurants and night life. A large townhouse with nice furnishings.

Our family met in Nashville for an extended weekend. This property was a great option to keep us together with a very competitive price to local hotels. We were impressed with how easy it was to access the property and how big the inside was. There was some confusion with the parking situation but it was free for this site. I would come back and recommend this to others as well.
