The place was very nice, clean and comfy. Finding the place was a bit of a challenge. You may want to see if the host can meet you at the bus stop and take you to the actually unit. Also, there is another Villa Virginia in Positano. We thought that was where this place was so our driver googled and dropped us off at wrong location. We had to pay an extra $70 euros to get to Montepertuso, which is where this particular place is. NOT IN POSITANO. The restaurant Donna Rosa is EXCELLENT! And they are super friendly. Love all the kitties around too :-)

Montepertuso is a slice of heaven and Villa Virginia is the perfect home base for exploring Positano and the rest of the Amalfi coast. Clean, comfortable,spacious and convenient, it provides a haven away from the crowds below. Checking in and out was a breeze. Stefania was especially helpful and flexible, helping to make last minute arrangements even when we did not communicate until late at night, which we very much appreciated. Getting down the steps to Positano was a fun adventure, but we opted to take the bus back up. The buses are packed and we had to stand, but we had lots of fun chatting with the international tourists around us and looking out the window at the lights of Positano and the boats in the harbour. Oddly, this turned out to be one of the highlights. (I should note that taxis are also available if this sort of thing does not sound appealing.). We had a lovely few days and were truly sad to leave this beautiful place.

The place was really clean and we had a very quiet and enjoyable stay. The two hosts were incredibly helpful with taxis and cars and recommendations. It is a heckuva hike down and up to Positano, but we preferred the quiet. And the two restaurants in town were amazing. We hit them more than once each.

We loved our apartment, the adjacent courtyard was an added bonus, and had breathtaking views. Also, super charming view from one of the bedrooms. Sonia was pleasant and great with communication. Even though it seemed like we were far from Positano, there was a set of steps (25 min walk) all the way to the beach in Positano.
