*A perfect stay in the middle of nature – highly recommended!*We had an absolutely wonderful 10-day stay and were so sad, that we had to leave last saturday. Mimi and Arthur were incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful. They were always there for us whenever questions arised or we needed help and they gave us amazing recommendations for local hiking and walking routes. We loved chatting with them – they made us feel completely at home and well taken care of.The annexe is set in the middle of the most beautiful nature. It is incredibly peaceful and relaxing. We used the garden every single day, whether it was for breakfast in the morning or to unwind in the evening while listening to the sounds of the sheep and the muntjac deer. The location is an ideal base for larger day trips to Wales, Bath, or the Cotswolds. At the same time, the local area itself is stunning and well worth exploring (Mimi and Arthur have great personal tips for this, too!). We would definetely come back and can highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

Lovely aparment in quiet countryside with friendly welcoming hosts. Communication was great. Spaceous living area. Great to see books and games available. TV was very tempermental but I'm not bothered about TV. Could do with a new sofa as it was very hard, but fortunately there were many cushions to soften the impact a little, but far from comfortable. Comfortable and large, if very creaky bed. Towels could have been bigger: it would have been nice to have a towel that wrapped around fully the body .There was 1 pint of milk, salt, pepper, a tub of solidified sugar and nondescript teabags, (no coffee) so very minimal basics provided. But no oil to cook with. Given that you are not near any shops I would have been happy to pay a little extra to have a welcome box with the basics (bread, butter, half a dozen eggs.)It just felt a little bit mean for the price.
