About this house rental
The house has 3 bedrooms and a parking space in front of the house’s gate:
On the second floor,
- a bedroom with a large double bed
(160×200),
- a bedroom with a double bed
(140×190),
- a large children’s bedroom (22m²) with a single bed (90×190) (two 90×190 mattresses on the floor available upon request),
-a bathroom with a toilet.
On the first floor,
- a large kitchen,
- a living room,
- a dining room,
- a large bathroom with a bathtub and a shower stall,
- a separate toilet.
On the first floor,
- a laundry room
- a beautiful garden with furniture for 6 people and a parasol
- a covered patio with a table, 6 chairs, and a charcoal grill
This is our primary residence right in the heart of downtown Châtillon, in a quiet and safe neighborhood that we’re making available during our vacation. You’ll have access to all the appliances we use for our own comfort, a Nespresso machine and a Nespresso Vertuo, our books, and even some basic groceries to help you out when you arrive.
But rest assured, you won’t have to settle in among our personal belongings—everything will be cleared away before your arrival, and you’ll have access to large storage closets. Sheets and towels are included.
The main highlights of our home are the peace and quiet, the spaciousness, the flowers, and the garden—which is almost as big as the house itself: you can relax, read in peace, sunbathe in tranquility in the garden, or have lunch under the umbrella.
Upon request, a cleaning service can be arranged with our housekeeper if you’d like it for longer stays. We’ve also installed a Verisure remote monitoring alarm system so you don’t have to worry while you’re away.
All shops are within walking distance: supermarkets, a covered market every Thursday and Sunday, bakeries, produce stands, pharmacies, cheese shops, bookstores, grocery stores, hair salons, restaurants, dry cleaners, and even a beauty salon right below the house.

We made a reservation less than 2 weeks before our stay at the house, and from the beginning, Elie was incredibly helpful. He kept in touch with us before our arrival and personally welcomed us.
The house is amazing, even cooler than in the photos! It's well-equipped, allowing us to stay for over 15 days without any problems. The location is very safe, with many options for all kinds of food (around 8 restaurants within a 7-minute walk), and there's a Carrefour just 3 minutes away with plenty of good choices. I felt even better than at home, lol.
The kitchen had everything we needed, enabling us to enjoy high-quality meals. We received a basic kit for the first few days, which was very nice. The neighborhood is very safe and only 23 minutes away from the center of Paris by Uber. There's also a public transportation system with TRAM and Metro that gets you to the center in 30 minutes. It was very convenient for our family, especially since we were traveling with kids and visited nearby cities like Versailles, Disneyland Paris, Parc Asterix, etc., all of which were easily accessible without traffic on major roads (around 35 minutes away). Very Safe!
Elie was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the trip, not only with our questions but also with great restaurant recommendations and places to visit for our 7- and 13-year-old kids.
We experienced some hot weather, and the portable AC unit was essential and ensured incredible nights of sleep in a quiet neighborhood.
