Christian and Jackie were great hosts. The communication before arrival and during our stay was faultless. Christian was there to greet us on arrival and explained the workings of the gite. The kitchen was well equipped and the gas fired plancha, which we used every day, was a bonus. It was a very peaceful stay, which is exactly what we were looking for. We sat outside each day with a beer or a glass of wine watching the sheep, chickens and other wildlife go about their business. It’s an easy walk into town where there are all the shops you might need, and there are two large E Leclerc supermarkets within easy reach in a car. Its a great place to base yourself for exploring the Dordogne region.

Lovely house clean and quiet. Close proximity to the lovely St. Julien de la Lampon. Very hot for a few days but cooled down for the rest of our stay. Hosts were great. Spoke English and were available to answer questions if needed. Will stay again.

This is a lovely, comfortable, well-equipped house in a rural area on the edge of a village. The accommodation is of a very high standard throughout. The terrace overlooks the fields and is a great place to relax with a drink. Best of all are the lovely, friendly, good-humoured and kind hosts. Shall stay again.
