It was a short stay (much much shorter than we planned unfortunately) but this pension is so pleasant.
The location is wonderful. Quiet and Cosy. The staff was superb: she was very kind to start, so efficient and talks very nicely to any guests, either small children or elderly guests hiking in the area. Ms Katrina pays attention to every guests, talks to everyone in the way they'd like to communicate with her, in Japanese or English.
They provide Onsen tickets. The area is pretty busy during summer holiday seasons but quiet.
You find good selection of boardgames and books. Children would never be bored with those facilities and the surrounding nature.
And good price.
