It is a beautiful traditional building with lots of original features and character. The bed was very comfortable, and the spacious room had air conditioning and a ceiling fan. We had two delicious breakfasts there, all organic and made by Sara and her mother-in-law. Both days were completely different and equally fresh and tasty. We bought four jars of different organic jams made by Sara, which we got to sample as part of our breakfasts. There are also other various organic products which you can buy in the communal kitchen area. Sara gave us a local village map and a map of the surrounding areas. We went to Riverland Bio Farm in the mountains and had an organic lunch there. It was so beautiful and it was great to get so close to the animals. Highly recommended and only a 10 minute drive from Pera! We also visited the Cyprus Planetarium, which was a 4 minute drive from Pera. It was fascinating with the most beautiful church just outside it. Sara recommended a traditional taverna 10-minute drive from Pera. The kleftico with potatoes was one of the best we have had and came with Greek salad, dolmades, green vegetables, hummus, tzatziki, olives and bread. Sara was brilliant, very friendly, and gave us so much information on everything. Highly recommended accommodation and we would love to return!!!

This was our second time staying at Aperanti and it was just as lovely and charming as our original visit. The house is a cute, historical Cypriot village house that’s been lovingly done up into comfortable accommodation. Sara and Tassos were the best hosts a person could ask for. They obviously care deeply about the property, the community and Cyprus.
We did the halloumi making class and I can’t recommend this enough. Everyone that visits Cyprus should do it! It was just as good as the one we did with Tassos’ mom 7 years ago!
