About this cabin rental
Located in Maggie Valley, this lovely cabin for $195 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. BABY BEAR’S CABIN is located in the heart of The Smokey Mountains and Maggie Valley. The cabin sits at the top of the community with no sight of other homes from the deck, only the Mountain View. Just five minutes to the main road in Maggie Valley. Built from REAL logs, it is a true log cabin with modern amenities. Our home has Two Master bedrooms, both with king size beds. A comfortable queen size sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress and two pullouts serve as additional sleeping space. The cabin sleeps up to 6 adults. Enjoy the Smart TVs in the living room and both bedrooms. Enjoy Spectrum network and free fiberoptic high speed WiFi. Soak and relax in the four person Hot Tub on the deck with the Mountain View. Comfortable beds, linens and towels provided. Full kitchen setup with seating for 8. Plenty of soft blankets to curl up with and watch a movie on the Blu-ray player (movie selection provided) or read a good book. Enjoy the “black bear loft” with pool table and board games. No trailers are permitted at the cabin. You can always tell when owners take pride in their cabin, and this is 100% true with Baby Bear's cabin. The cabin was immaculately clean and was exactly as described in the VRBO description. Corinne is the most thoughtful host we've ever had -- she sent plenty of helpful tips about hiking and other wonderful attractions in the area. She is a pleasure to communicate with, and that makes the experience even nicer. The cabin is decorated with hundreds of bear-themed accoutrements, which we loved.
The outstanding reviews speak for themselves -- Baby Bear's cabin is a gem. Highly recommended with no reservations. We had a wonderful vacation -- thank you!

Baby Bear's Cabin was the perfect place for a quiet and peaceful getaway. The views are truly gorgeous and being at the top of the mountain you experience privacy and many of nature's delights. The owners, particularly Corinne, were great communicators and very helpful with suggestions to help make our stay even better. There was a well equipped kitchen, plenty of linens, a very nice game room, comfortable beds, and wonderful decor to put you into the mindset of a relaxing mountain vacation.
Its central location to other nearby towns make it ideal to do daytrips for hiking, rafting, or other active entertainment yet there are plenty of quaint shops right in town (and in neighboring Waynesville) to explore for a quieter type of day as well.
The outdoors feature a hot tub, firepit, and cornhole for a laidback ending to your day. You will not forget that beautiful view of the mountains!!

The cabin was clean, well-stocked and beautiful. The mountain view is great. The hot tub was great. It's very convenient to restaurants and stores in Maggie Valley. I'll try to stay there again!

This place was absolutely amazing! The views were spectacular and we were able to sit on the front porch and watch the fireworks. The cabin has great entertainment such as a pool table, multiple games to choose from and corn hole. We had a lot of tournaments going on lol We will definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had the best vacation while staying at Baby Bear! The views were incredible! The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything we might need. We loved watching out for the groundhog and one night while making s'mores, we could hear the elk and saw fireflies! My daughter loved trying to count all the bears that decorated the cabin too! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your amazing place!

This home is absolutely beautiful, the view from the front porch is breathtaking. You can watch the clouds come in at night and the sun sets. There are some farm animals next door which was awesome. Elk, turkeys and deer roam around in Maggie valley. Corinne is fantastic to work with. Always available if needed.

Baby Bear cabin is exquisite in every way! Great amount of space for large group but the two of us appreciated every aspect of the furnishings, huge deck with magnificent views, wildlife watching, hot tub, comfortable bed, spacious kitchen…all in a breathtaking environment. We enjoyed the National Park and went on many hikes. Maggie Valley has shops to explore and we had a great meal at Bear Waters. We highly recommend this be your destination for exploring this area.

My husband, two kids, and I stayed in this cabin last week. It was has a beautiful view, was very clean, had everything you might need, and the bedrooms were very spacious. The owner gave lots of great restaurant and hike recommendations. We were nervous about the driveway based on other reviews, but we were able to make it up easily in a minivan. It was a great place to stay while enjoying all that the area has to offer.

The cabin was super easy to book, the host communicated with us several times to make sure everything was as expected and even gave us some links to local waterfalls and trails to explore. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Cabin was clean and bedrooms were very spacious with their own full bathroom. Scenery from cabin was breathtaking! Owner made things very easy for us and was great at communicating. Location was perfect. Small town but you can get the basics you need. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. Cabin is on a one way paved road up the mountain. We were able to get up with a mid-size car.

What a beautiful, beautiful spot in the mountains with stunning views! The host was so wonderful with communication and making sure we have all that we need. The cabin was VERY clean and well stocked with everything you need to cook including a crockpot which was wonderful. You couldn’t choose a better spot in the mountains as this was at the top of the mountain away from other cabins giving a nice secluded feel with breathtaking views! Comfy beds and just a great spot!

The host was always available. The home was perfect. We loved the hot tub after skiing. The drive to cabin is steep but it didn’t bother us.

We enjoyed our stay at Baby Bear Cabin! I didn't realize it was as high up on the mountain as it was. We rented a pick-up truck so it felt safe in case of snow or ice on the way up and down. The road up is narrow and the railings are sparse, so when you look down (at least to me) it feels like death valley! You cannot be afraid to drive it or you won't get to Baby Bear! I almost walked up my first time but it got better with practice. The Cabin is very comfortable and clean. The views are beautiful and the hot tub was a definite highlight. Gorgeous views at night from the tub! The owners provide all towels needed which was appreciated! There are plenty of eateries around the cabin and Publix is about 20 mins away! We skied at the resort which is 5 mins away and super convenient! Our family enjoyed the pool table in the loft and the board games. We had a bit of a struggle with the heat. Couldn't keep it too warm or our teenager would complain upstairs but then it would feel a bit cold downstairs. But we managed. There is a fan provided upstairs to keep things cooler. The only real difficulty we had was washing towels and bedsheets, washing and drying and putting away all dishes used, and taking out the trash (it couldn't be left in the bin outside or we'd be charged $10 extra). All this had to be done before we left. It was a bit inconvenient as I did half the laundry the night before we left and the other half the morning we left and got up 45 mins earlier to get it all done. That part didn't feel relaxing. It also didn't feel like a getaway towards the end because we were doing part of the cleaning, which we thought we had already paid for. And before making our way to the airport, we were transporting trash to another site. I'm not sure if VRBO's require this after COVID but of all of the VRBO's we've stayed at, this required the most of us and cut into our rest the day of our departure. That was the only downside. Everything else was wonderful, fun, memorable, clean, well stocked, all details attended to, and very warm and welcoming! The black bears that decorate the cabin are adorable and inspired me to buy some as gifts for myself and others! Thank you to our hosts for such a cozy and memorable stay!

We loved our second stay at Baby Bear Cabin! The cabin was super clean and stocked just as described. The host was so kind, and kept us up to date on the status of the roads. It snowed four inches one night which was so fun for our boys! The house is just fantastic. The perfect, peaceful getaway spot!

This was our second visit to Baby Bear Cabin and we had another wonderful time. I love this cabin and it's floor plan and amenities are perfect for my family of 5, with 3 kids. The cabin was spotless upon arrival and getting to the cabin was no problem for our mini van. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen most nights and appreciated the supply of seasonings and other items. For any families looking to ski or tube, the cabin is only minutes away. Thanks again to Corrine for sharing her vacation home with us!

Our stay was awesome. The cabin had everything we needed. Check in was easy and Corrine was very easy to communicate with. The driveway situation was a bit tricky having a large suv but it wouldn’t stop me from staying there again. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much!

View was stunning and the night view of the Valley Wow! Cabin was clean and cozy as advertised. Host was great and always avaliable if needed. Seen tons of wildlife and listened to the Elks talk at night while by the fire veiwing the sparkling Valley below. Highly recommend taking a ATV guided tour while there with Bryan at scenic tours right there in town.

We loved our time at Baby Bear Cabin. It is a quiet retreat at the top of a mountain with amazing views of Maggie Valley. Sunrise and sunset were picture perfect. The cabin was very clean, well-stocked, and Corinne was a kind and communicative host. We enjoyed smores at the fire pit, soaking in the hot tub, and playing games up in the loft. We saw wild turkeys, a bat, and heard elk calling every night. There is a lot of hiking to do in the area, a few waterfalls nearby, plus downtown Waynesville or Bryson City. Our only complaint, which had nothing to do with the cabin, was that it was much warmer than usual for this time of year yet many of the leaves had already fallen. Of note, the drive up to the cabin is steep, but it is paved the entire way and our FWD SUV handled it without issue. Great experience overall, we would stay again and recommend it to anyone.
